We only stayed for 1 night at hotel Talen in order to take the train the next day. It was a comfortable stay with a tasty breakfast buffet.

There are not so many hotels in this small town of Coevorden. This one is splendid. What makes it so special is the staff. They are the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. The hotel is fairly basic but kept up very very well. I’ll stay here again. Aweome

I booked this hotel for three rooms as were visiting the Assen TT circuit for the 2018 Moto GP. First impressions were great with the proprietors Harry and Cora being incredibly accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They even made space for our motorbikes to be safely left in their locked garage overnight. We stayed for three nights and had evening meals twice which were excellent, with all the staff that looked after us being very personable. A definite place to return to, which we shall do for the 2019 GP.

This hotel has an excellent restaurant, in a good location a few minutes walk from the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was simple, no frills, but clean, quiet and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay!

Comfortable rooms and nice service from the reception desk when I checked in and out. I've booked there again, so that must be a good sign! Very close to restaurants and town centre.

Er ontbreekt alleen een koelkast op de kamer. Verder mooie kamer en badkamer functioneel

Goed gelegen voor Pieterpad wandelingen. Prima kamer, en ook een voldoende verzorgd ontbijt. Ik kwam er tijdens mijn verblijf pas achter dat ze gunstige Pieterpad arrangementen hadden gehad. Helaas voor mij, leuk voor toekomstige wandel gasten!

Leuk hotel, heel leuk ingericht. Leuke omgeving. Vriendelijk personeel. Ruime familie kamer, maar kan wat netter schoongemaakt worden. Spinnenrag in de lampen. En toilet niet zo schoon. Als de schoonmaak wat beter is dan fijne plek om te blijven
