Beautiful hotel. Very clean. The staff was wonderful. Our flight came in around 7 am. The front desk let us check in very early around 10 or 11. We had breakfast there and went to sleep. The hotel is on the 4th floor with one small elevator right across the street from the basilica. Ver walkable. It’s just a few blocks from Roma Termini and many restaurants. The front desk made some great recommendations for dinner options. We would definitely stay here again after being here a week.

Right across the street from Basilica de Santa Maria Maggiore which was super convenient and nice quiet area around hotel.

One time housekeeping must have dropped a glass cup and didn’t clean up the area and there were small shards of glass on the floor which was a safety hazard. Great location if you’re interested in going to Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore literally right across the street and close to Taxi station. Breakfast was quaint however there were small flies around some of the food sometimes. Staff is super friendly and welcoming and answered all of our questions and concerns.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location was great, the staff were amazing, the rooms were spotless and adorable. Breakfast was delish and it was such a great experience overall. If you want a great place in the heart of Rome that makes you feel like you are a local - this is the place. We will definitely stay here again. We have already given the details for this place to 2 other couples to stay.

We liked building with old elevator and comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff all the time and fabulous breakfast, we would definitely come back here and close to many attractions Thankyou we enjoyed very much

The best hotel stay ever. The staff are exemplary. It is clean and comfortable. The breakfast offerings are quite generous and more than adequate. The hotel is so easily accessible to all things. We felt very safe and comfortable and well taken care of.

The Hotel Princeps was a great hotel. Location was fab about 20-30 minute walk to most places obviously Vatican City was a lot further to walk. The hotel was clean and the air conditioning was great after a hot day walking around Rome. The rooms were big enough for a couple and the beds and pillows were memory foam and very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect with scrambled eggs & bacon on offer every day along with toast, cereal, fruit and cold meats and salad stuff. Plenty of restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

Great 2 night stay here. Lovely room, great location within walking distance to everything. Breakfast was quite tasty as well. All positive! Highly recommend.

Room was an AMAZING size. Staff was extremely friendly and location was perfect. It is a little far from Travestere if you plan on being there a lot but would recommend this to anyone visiting Rome

Princeps Hotel was a lovely oasis in the Monti neighbourhood in Rome. I arrived early and they let me check in and even upgraded me to a larger room. They also let me enjoy breakfast given I was leaving the hotel at 5 a.m. the following day. The room was clean and nicely decorated. I felt extremely safe and each staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly. There are many dining options within a 5-10 min walk. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Rome for a couple of nights.

Beaytiful property, quiet in the evenings. Hop on hop off bus stop across the street. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Friendly staff, very helpful with transfers/ shuttles. Rooms very clean, breakfast was excellent with a great variety. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, pasteries etc
