Location not ideal and trying to pay for parking via RingGo was a bit of a nightmare! Nice breakfast the following day.

Lovely room, although the bathroom smelt a bit damp. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast 5 stars for the chef and waiting staff. I used the pool which was lovely too, although the floor in the ladies changing room was dirty and a bit slippery. Sauna was nice - would definitely book again.

Clean room but spa could be a lot better and the wifi in the room was very poor.

The room was advertised as soundproof however the noise from the adjoining room was too loud, we had to move rooms. The breakfast was until 10:30 as stated by the receptionist, when arriving for breakfast at our booked time or 10am we were told breakfast was finished. The spa jacuzzi was not warm enough and surrounding pool area in the spa was cold, robes were an extra expense. Parking cost £10 per 24hrs yet the car park was not busy and far from built up areas, we wasn’t sure the reason for the charge to park in the countryside! Only disabled badge holders were allowed to park directly outside the windows of the rooms, there was 5 cars parked in these spaces and only 1 had a disabled badge displayed. The car door slams, radios and loading u loading guests really disturbed us outside our room window. Staff were very friendly at all times.

The staff were great, the room was adequate. I wanted to just arrive check in and sleep a little but immediately they tell you that you have to pay £10 per day for the car park! I found this to be a bloody cheek! Not only that but I spent the next half an hour running to and from reception as I couldn’t download the app. Also, I couldn’t get WiFi which was annoying. The TV had very limited choice of channels.

No one at reception on arrival. When they did turn up and we said we were checking in, the first thing they asked for was a £50 deposit and confirmed we'd have to pay £20 for parking as booked through Expedia and not direct with hotel. They then told us our room number and brief directions to the location of our room and that was the end of the conversation. Having never visited this hotel and spa before we were told no other information about the facilities for our 2night stay. The room did have a welcome manual in but the information in it was out of date with incorrect menu prices and need for locker tokens etc. The room was nice and spacious. Downside in our twin room was one bed had a firm mattress and the other bed was so soft it squashed down and didn't give much support. The room had plenty of tea, coffee making facilities etc. The food in the Celtic bar was good and the waiting staff attentive. The Spa staff were excellent and actually asked us if we'd visited before and told plus Information accordingly. The downside was the small sauna with flimsy tired boards and a jacuzzi that seemed to have an 'out of order' sign on it at least twice a day. We enjoyed the gym and pool. Overall an ok spa break but there are small things that could be done to make it a lot better.

The hotel, staff, food, rooms and pool are amazing but what a terrible business decision to charge £10 for parking. Which has to be paid through an external app. Going to lose so many customers.

A very basic stay, everything looks beautiful on the outside, hotel staff very friendly, room nice size but not comfortable in terms of bed/pillows. Spa: steam room excellent, the sauna door doesn’t shut properly and also the rubber lining has fallen away therefore you lose a lot of heat, pool on the cool side and jacuzzi luke warm at best.
