The hotel recently (last week) changed brands and ownership from LaQuinta to Comfort. General condition was good, clean. Outside entry of hotel needs some attention but I suspect that is from the recent change in management and will get attention. Bed was great. Room was large decent and clean. Breakfast was fine. Staff was great and attentive.

We stayed overnight for Granddaughters graduation. Check in was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was okay. Only thing was the railroad tracks across the road from the hotel. I only noticed that once at night.

They were sold out. I had to drive 20 miles to a different location. My hotels.com itenerary number did not show up in their system. Hotels.com has done this to me before but there was at least a room close by. This was terrible at 10:00pm on a Friday night.

I don’t even know where to start. First, based on the reviews and photos, I thought this would be at least a clean hotel. Well there was black mold in the shower, scratches all over the walls and headboards, electric outlet covers are missing, smoke detectors are hanging from the ceiling, solid 2 inch gaps between the floor and front door to each hotel room, the list goes on. I’m shocked this hotel is actually still standing after the storms rolled through. The staff was nice, however I’m not sure how much longer they will have jobs considering there is a “tax notice” taped to the front door stating the sale of this property due to taxes owed. Breakfast was fine, lots of packaged items, fruit and coffee. Would not stay here again and would definitely not stay here if you’re even a tad worried about cleanliness or safety.

Dear La Quinta Inn Management, I am writing to formally report a serious health, safety, and billing issue following my recent stay at your location. I checked in on [insert date] with my nephew, and shortly after our overnight stay, we both woke up covered in numerous itchy bite marks. These bites were not present before our stay and have continued to worsen, strongly indicating possible exposure to bed bugs in the room we were assigned. This experience has caused significant physical discomfort and emotional stress, along with the risk of bed bugs being introduced into my home. I am now facing the possibility of costly extermination services and replacing personal belongings in order to prevent an infestation. To make matters worse, I was charged for my service dog, even after presenting valid documentation from a licensed medical professional. This was not a fake certificate—I am disabled and legally allowed to have my service dog with me without any additional charges, per the ADA and your own policy. Despite that, $20 was taken from my $100 deposit specifically for the dog, which is both unlawful and deeply upsetting. Furthermore, I had already paid for the room in advance with my card, yet I was still asked to pay an additional $100 deposit. No explanation was given, and without my consent, the front desk staff deducted $20 from that deposit without justification. I have never experienced a hotel stay like this and was shocked by the treatment I received.

Shower wasnt properly cleaned as i viewed head hair in shower. gnats crawling in shower area and on bed cover. bathroom looked dated. i felt like the place was dirty just because it wasnt updated.

Room was okay. Breakfast not great but it was food. When I asked for a receipt at checkout, I was told that because I booked the room through a third party, i would need to ask them for the receipt. This is very poor business, and I will not stay with them or recommend them for that reason.

Overall this wasn’t a terrible hotel, the photos were a bit misleading. We were in town for a concert and were under the impression this was a very nice hotel. The photos make it look much better than it actually was. Bathroom was the worst part of the whole room. Shower was filled with mold, soap scum and build up of lord knows what. The toilet seat was absolutely awful looking. Looks like it had a minimum of 90,000 miles on it. The bathroom in a whole had an awful smell and didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in quite some time. The room was nicely decorated, and bed was made as you would expect but some splatter substance was all over the headboard.

Check in was fine. Room was just okay. Toilet seat was old and disgusting looking. Towels were rough and thin. Mold growing in shower on the edges of the walls and a lot along the track of the shower doors. Gross! Bed was comfy but the quilted blanket was old and super lumpy. Breakfast was yucky. My husband will eat just about anything and took about three bites and pushed it away. I spoke to the front desk staff and showed them pics of the toilet and shower. She said she'd make a note of it. What a joke. Nobody should be staying in that room.....cleaning staff should have has them fix that stuff before alowing another guest in there! Would not stay here again.
