Foliage on property is beautiful. No A/C, smells of mildew. Pool & access to the beach is on point. Very very quiet property, no music anywhere. Clientele is older, late sixties. Food buffet is delightful.

The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins).

The property was absolutely gorgeous with very well maintained gardens. The entire staff we met was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and was happy with our stay.

The property grounds are lovely here, including the natural gardens and the pool, as well as the resident pets! One downside would be the rooms themselves, no a/c and amenities not up to date.

What a stunning place to stay! There was a real sense of peace and tranquility in and around the hotel during my 3 nights. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. My apartment had everything I needed and the receptionists were very helpful. Two things to consider: There's no air conditioning which wasn't too big an issue in December but may be over the summer. In addition, there's not much in the way of soundproofing between apartments which meant I was woken up at 7am each morning by the people next door. Again, it wasn't too big a deal as I wanted to be up to explore the island but those who want to sleep in late may find this to be an issue.

We loved the way the rooms were situated in amongst the beautiful tropical gardens, not only with interesting plants but also turtles, fish, ducks, a parrot and a number of cats.

Good points: Beautiful gardens, friendly staff, good breakfast, premium apartment was newly refurbished and well equipped. Bad points: Parking is annoying, as can never get anywhere near hotel entrance. Dinner is not a relaxing experience as staff are busily setting up for tomorrow’s breakfast from 8:30 onwards. Room safe should not be an extra charge. It can be quite noisy in the room due to poor soundproofing.

Everything is spot on. Brilliant welcome, accommodation is immaculate, the food is very good quality with a vast selection at the breakfast and dinner buffets The staff are really friendly and more than happy to organise anything for you. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in a beautifully designed garden with tropical flora, close to a nice natural beach. It consists of several buildings mimicking original local architecture.The rooms are furnishded and decorated in a tasty manner. The inhabitants can use a spacious swiimming pool located in the centre of the garden. Concerts of classical music three times a week. A small kitchen in each appartment helps to families with children. Close to the airport. A great value for the money.

We recently stayed at the Hacienda San Jorge at the beginning of September, we really found this to be a beautiful hotel, extremely pleasant hotel employees throughout the hotel. In the hotel grounds there are some stunning gardens that are very nice to wander around, it really is a credit to the hotel and their employees how nice these gardens are. The hotel is in a good situation, very close to the beach, close to all local amenities like the shops, bars and restaurants. It is also only approximately a 40 minute walk from the main port town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, which is a beautiful old town with some lovely looking buildings. I would recommend this hotel and the Island of La Palma to anyone!

The hotel area is quite good, near of the aeroport and with all facilities near by. The gardens and skyline are amazing. In the check in reception staff ask us for credit card, but there was no information about it when we booked the holidays. The mattress in the sofa bed is horrible. You can feel every metal and wood stuff under it. We actually used the floor to sleep. It was more confortable than the mattress. The cleaning is ok. But, They don´t let any sponge and detergent to wash the dishers and they don´t wash it either. Even when you can see that towels and bed sheets are dirty, they don´t change them. You have to ask for a change. We have had so rude neighbors. They have been banging our walls, because They expect us to sleep at 10pm. They called the reception to complain because we were having shower and cooking after 10pm. For our surprise, reception called us to say that we could not use shower, toilet flush and kitchen after 10pm. This is absuletely ridiculous and off course we just ignored them and continue doing are lives. We tried to ask for a pack lunch one day and It was a nightmare. Sandwiches were disgusting wiht old bread, dry and greasy. The breakfast was quite nice. The have different choices and every thing looked fresh. Restaurant staff, cleaning and most of the reception staff were very nice. On tele 85% of the channels are in german.

Really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, particularly the gardens. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The hotel is only 3km from the airport but is not affected by noise from the few outbound flights. The black sand beach is on it's doorstep and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. Good rooms, great cleanliness. Recommended.

Hôtel de bon standing avec un très bon accueil du personnel. Très beaux jardins et piscine spacieuse. La formule en demi pension sous forme de buffets est très correcte mais un peu orientée vers la clientèle allemande. Chambre très propre et bien équipée. Bien vérifier la facture des consommations en partant, des erreurs sont si vite arrivées...

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter, Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut mit großer Auswahl. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, sauber und alles da was man braucht. Mit dem Mietwagen hat alles bestens geklappt.
