This hotel is a gem! The staff was amazing! The continental breakfast was very good! Our room was amazing! Would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to the Umbria region!

Excellent location with beautiful views

Stunning location! The staff are a highlight especially the ladies preparing the food for dinner. Excellent food. The rooms were worn heavily, with little things that could be easily fixed.

Tranquil, beautiful, and high-end. We enjoyed our weekend at Aethos Saragano so much. The rooms were gorgeous, the restaurant was incredible, and the staff were kind and helpful. All around an amazing experience.

Just arrived home from a four-night stay at Saragano. Fantastic team led by Paul ensured we had a brilliant stay. Views over the valley and hills are incredible. Food in Ceci is excellent. Will be recommending to family and friends. Thanks all!

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The rooms are incredible and the staff is kind, helpfull and professionnal. The chef Delfina is incredible, you will taste the best of Umbria with her. Pedro also made my stay remarkable. Here is where I believe you should do better: - You don’t have 24/7 service open (which is okay) but your in room service is very limited; you are a luxury hotel and you only offer instant nestcafe coffee. I have a room with the most beautifull view of Saragano and my only option option in the morning are very low quality coffee and tea…. - Breakfast is okay; very limited. - Your website says you have bikes for rent at 45 euro; Great!! but it’s a company renting it for you 20 minutes drive from the hotel and they charge 80 euro to deliver it to the hotel…. so you should review your website. I also mentionned to the GM that I would rather ride a mountain bike rather than an E-bike and he said it was the only option in the area. Ceci restaurant was closed on Monday so I went to the hotel next door to make a reservation at their restaurant and they let me use one of their mountain bike for free even though I offered them to rent it for a fee…. I wouldn’t have mind renting a bike for a fee from your hotel, but driving 20 minutes to get one or pay 80 euro delivery fee?! Please don’t give false information on your website. - You charged me for a bottle I returned; listed 2016 on your list; It was a 2019. Not okay

We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel manager Paul and all the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming, and made our time there relaxed and easy. We'd definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

The restaurant Ceci has great food. Pool and Gym needs some renovations.

This is one of the most amazing properties I've stayed at - the views of the countryside are just magnificent.The management and staff is just superb.

Manager Paul and entire staff were absolutely wonderful and conscientious to detail. They were also very friendly- I felt like family while I was there. The food was excellent and just beautifully presented.Loved it!!! Would go back again in a heartbeat!

Amazing hotel but would not recommend as service needs to be improved. The hotel itself is beautiful, views are amazing, pool area was great, restaurant food & breakfast was delicious. However, service is dismal. There's no daily housekeeping and in the 4 days we were there, we didn't get any fresh towels or bedding. When asking for a towel to take down to the pool, you are only permitted one. After lunch, your plates & cups are left out on the table for hours afterwards. There weren't enough sunbeds / parasols by the pool and there was lots of building work going on by the pool which disturbed the environment. There's no tea and coffee in the room. You have to go and ask for more toilet paper (after being left with 1 roll for 4 days). Massimo (the general manager) treats most requests as if they're disturbing his day and a lot of effort. However, Carol and Anna who work on reception and the restaurant are amazing! If they fixed the service, this could be an absolutely amazing hotel!

Amazing place with lovely helpful staff .The pool was clean relaxing and always had sun beds available with big umbrellas to keep shaded. The whole hotel experience was very relaxing and being part of the village made it Evan more special with the bells and Italian voices . We also loved the pizza evening when they turned the local square into a outside pizza evening and all the local people joined in. We enjoyed the cigar room which also had amazing range of drinks to accompany each cigar. All in all a great place . We will return!

A little tricky to find and out of the way, but worth it! Our room happened to look on the main, little square which is so lovely that even my husband from Italy thought it could be a scene in a movie. We had essentially a small apartment that was comfortable, clean and attractive. They do not service your room, such as making your bed, while you stay but they might have had we asked. Breakfast is found in your room when you arrive to last the duration of your stay. Very simple to include just cookies and coffee. Eating in their wine bar and restaurant, however, do not disappoint! Food is excellent. We tried just about everything on the menu. The staff really went out of their way to take care of us and give us information about the area. Our two young boys enjoyed exploring the grounds and swimming. We also discovered a small playground for them nearby. Very relaxing. We hope to return someday!

Prachtige locatie, maar met wat aandachtspunten We verbleven in dit resort en het uitzicht en de omgeving zijn werkelijk adembenemend. Het is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de natuur. Het restaurant was een echte aanrader – het eten was heerlijk en het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk. Zeker de troef van het verblijf! Het zwembad was ook top: schoon, ruim en lekker verfrissend. Wel zou de overdekte ruimte bij het zwembad een upgrade kunnen gebruiken. Nu is het niet verzorgd. Een groot minpunt waren de oude kamers, met name de badkamers. Deze waren echt aan vervanging toe: de badkamer was heel klein en de douchekop leek meer op een handsproeier dan een echte douchekop. Dit was een beetje een tegenvaller, vooral omdat de nieuwe kamers op de website met prachtige, moderne badkamers werden gepromoot. We hadden blijkbaar een oudere kamer met minder luxe faciliteiten, en de airco in onze kamer werkte ook niet optimaal. Al met al is dit een prima verblijf als je van natuur, rust en lekker eten houdt. Maar als je voor de moderne kamers en luxe faciliteiten komt, zou ik aanraden om goed na te vragen welke kamer je precies boekt. De vriendelijke medewerkers en het geweldige restaurant maken echter veel goed!

Abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni presso la Locanda, nell'appartamento Il Melograno. La posizione è splendida, con panorama sulla campagna umbra a circa mezz'ora dai borghi di Assisi, Spoleto e Todi. La Locanda è un piccolo borgo, molto curato, di vari appartamenti, più un ristorante, un wine bar e un centro benessere. L'appartamento Il Melograno è molto confortevole e silenzioso. Lo staff è stato sempre gentile e disponibile verso ogni nostra esigenza. Il ristorante ci ha offerto un'ottima cucina tipica. Non abbiamo avuto modo di provare il centro benessere... sarà per la prossima volta!

Beautiful setting, great atmosphere, very helpful and attentive staff, quality music events several nights during our four days stay, made it an experience out of the ordinary. It felt like living in a small community and not a hotel.

un posto stupendo siamo rimasti incantati dalla straordinaria location. infatti abbiamo prenotato una notte in più. ritornerò sicuramente non appena avranno terminato anche la SPA.

Bellissima struttura piccolo borgo con apparmentini indipendenti, ristorante, piazzetta con bar e sala sigaro dove si può gustare un buon sigaro insieme a una buona coppa di rum. Sicuramente da provare. Consigliatissimo.
