The food at the hotel restaurant was terrible. Even tho they claim to be 5 star fine dining. The staff were very kind and helpful but just seemed undertrained. Our room was small hot and stuffy just didn’t match the high price. The bar wasent staffed to make any cocktails Overall just too high of a price for what it was

We were just there 1 night. Got in late. Dinner at restaurant was good as was breakfast. Rooms are very small. Double size beds. No a/c. There was a fan in the room. Staff was friendly and provided good service. Would not book again due to size of bed and room. Would go back to restaurant

The photo s and description on hotels .com are nothing like the actual hotel. It is located on. Busy noisy road. The shower in our bathroom did not work. They say they have 2 restaurants and 2nars. In actuality there is Fish and Chips and Pizza restaurant attached. The main dining room is nothing like in the photos and they have no staff there. The bartender from the next room is trying to service both areas

Our stay was nice. However, there could be improvements in the dining experience. We ate in the “Fish and Chips” and the “Pizza” restaurants. They’re all the same, same cook. The food was fair. There’re aren’t other options in Glencoe. The location was nice, the staff friendly. It was only the food options that were a miss.

Picture on website and description of five star inn totally deceitful. On main road and lucky to be two star. Walked out of dining room as seated next to table where people had left most of their meal. Price was a rip off . We got two nights in the West End of Glasgow for that price. Will be writing when home for compensation

Room very dusty, carpets . Furnishings looked grubby throughout the hotel. Lack of staff tge staff who were there were running about literally to get everyone served. Limited menu for dinner, breakfast poor, limited offer in bar. Horrible smell in corridors.lounge area nicest part but even that could do with a good clean . Definitely wouldn’t book again.

Close to busy road and a bit noisy if you have rooms facing the road. Friendly staff.

Location is nice, hotel is quaint, but the bed mattresses are awful. Woke up with the worst back pain ever.

Our recent stay at the Glencoe Inn was far from the pleasant experience we expected based on the listing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property did not meet basic standards of comfort and cleanliness. To start, our room lacked basic amenities like slippers, which were advertised as included. The bathroom was unclean, with dirty toilets that should have been properly sanitized before our arrival. Worst of all, there was no hot water, making it impossible to freshen up after a long journey. Given these unacceptable conditions, we made the decision to cut our stay short and flew out just a few hours after arriving. We feel thoroughly misled by the property’s description and are now considering filing a formal complaint with hotels.co.uk for promoting a stay that did not match reality. The Glencoe Inn needs significant improvements in maintenance, housekeeping, and transparency before it can be recommended to other travelers. Until then, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for accommodation in the area.

Amazing stay when in or around Glencoe. Service is amazing. David is very helpful and there for breakfast to dinner to ensure you have all you need.

Very comfortable bed / room, though quite small (and a bit pricey at £275 room only). Some weird plumbing noises but otherwise a peaceful stay in a nice setting. Room decor was tasteful and bed linen of good quality.

We had a wonderful one-night stay. Scott (reception and overall guest services) and Roman (waiter and barman) were both fantastic. Food was incredible at dinner and breakfast. Very close to Hidden Valley trailhead for the hiking crowd.

Absolutely lovely staff, but everything else was severely lacking and I have no idea how this hotel could have five, four or even three stars. I've never stayed in such a noisy hotel with such low quality beds, even at places that were $50/night (and this was 4x that). I could hear my neighbors down the hall having sex (they weren't even that loud). Every footfall in the hallway past my door was audible from inside the room. I could give a transcript of quiet hallways conversations at 5 in the morning. The beds were abysmal. The sheet pulled back a bit and the mattress appeared to be yellowed and old. Mine, a double, was topped with two separate mattress toppers, which I assume they thought would breathe life into the ancient mattress, but only meant that a crevasse would open up in the center of the bed as they separated during the night. Regarding cleanliness, the carpet in the room had multiple huge red stains from who knows what. The main areas outside the upstairs rooms seemed clean, though. The hotel was understaffed during my March stay. It's very large--a pizza and fish & chips restaurant, a bar, the hotel restaurant, and another bar, but they only had one and a half people operating all of it. There were long periods where no one was around to help, and when he did appear he was clearly run ragged. Respect to him for trying, but the hotel needs to have more staff outside high season. Cannot recommend.

Our room was very comfortable, though the view wasn’t great as it overlooked the restaurant. However, this was more than made up for by the lounge area—a quirky hidden gem! It was a nice space to relax, though it felt a bit eerie since we seemed to be the only ones using it, despite the inn being full. The staff were helpful and kind, and we received a warm welcome from Scott, which set a nice tone for our stay. The breakfast server (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) was also great—very friendly and made our mornings more enjoyable. That said, the food was quite expensive, and there were very few vegetarian options, which was disappointing. The lounge bar could have been open more often, and it would have been nice if they served beer. Overall, a good stay with a few small improvements that could make it even better!

What a lovely, friendly hotel. From the night manager to the restaurant staff & day reception staff you couldn’t meet a friendlier more helpful bunch. I stayed for one night with my two children in a really cute & quirky double bunk bed and wished we could have stayed longer
