Fantastic staff. So friendly. I really enjoy staying here

While our room, number 7, was well equipped, it looked out onto a close wall so that in wintertime there was no sun, meaning the room was freezing and dark. Although there was a wall panel heater it was in no way sufficient, so for our second night we asked for and received another heater which alleviated the situation. Other than the kitchen the room had been fully refurbished and would have been very nice had it been in a different part of the motel.

We had a great welcome when we arrived and were shown to our room which is always nice. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Parking felt very safe

Fraser, the owner, was most helpful on what to see in Nelson. He pointed me to The Center of New Zealand. An upward climb to the top but well worth the views. There's onsite laundry, which was most helpful.
