Recently renovated and excellent. Our favourite hotel of the trip and our favourite town. Rooms are a good size, bigger than most we have stayed. New bathroom and the staff are super helpful. Rated as only 2 star because the front desk not manned 24 hours but frankly this is a 4 star hotel. Great value and an excellent location near the piazza and Ducale Palace.

We stayed there one night. Fantastic place. Optimum choice for exploring Mantova. Central, quiet, wonderful view from our matrimonial room, great interior design, top service. The breakfast typical italian mainly sweet, vegan is a problem, if you need anything additional it has to be requested a day before. Still ... one of the most beautiful places around at a very reasonable price. Absolutely recommendable
