I had an inside room with no window. It was dark and the only way to get natural light was to open the curtain facing a sitting area--very exposed. The room temperature could not be regulated. There was no thermostat. It was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. No bottled water was provided as is customary in Mexico.

The Queen Suite room was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am allergic to air fresheners, and the room was wonderfully unscented.

Beautiful hotel, with spacious rooms. Except bathroom which is extremely small The only complaint I have is about their internet access. Is terrible the signal didn't even reach our room and when I asked the front desk the response was "Yes, we have that problem always'! I asked how many access points they have or WIFI extenders and the response even went from bad to worst "None!" in other wors they only have one router for the entire place which is ridiculous.

Pros: Very large clean rooms. Staff was kind and helpful. Free transportation from and to train or bus! Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was good. Cons: Overpriced. Bed was a bit "bowl-like."

Hotel reception did not check us in to both rooms we had reserved. They did not look at their own paperwork and did not ask questions, and 4 of us were checked into one room with one bathroom. They did not apologize for their mistake. The hotel restaurant was closed long before advertised., so we were forced to go to Best Western for dinner.

Huge rooms & extremely comfy beds & duvets - great, as it was cold! Recommended.

The hotel is a little down the road from the central area of Creel, which wasn't too bad. They have a driver who will pickup and drop you off from the train or bus stops (even if you aren't expecting them and walk to the hotel like we did!) so definitely take advantage. The room was very comfy and clean with satellite tv. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside was the breakfast was not especially great, but I'd recommend heading into town anyway if you got the time.

Great location, spacious room with very comfortable bed, hot shower, efficient quiet heater, coffee machine....what more could you ask for? Wifi that works....it was barely operational, don’t think the hotel should advertise that there is the facility if it doesn’t work, very disappointing, the hotel would have got a much better score if it was working.

Comfortable, clean, convenient.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are great. The lobby and dining area are beautiful. Very warm and nice atmosphere. The staff is most helpful. When we wanted to get some ice or sodas during times when it wasn't lunch or dinner the staff was super nice about getting those things for us which was greatly appreciated. We really liked having the Adirondack chairs and table outside our room. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our drinks and reading. We have traveled a lot over the past 25 years, and I would say this is one of my favorite hotels because it has a really nice "feel."

False and misleading as advertised. We paid for a suite with two bedrooms, they have no such accommodations and so we had to share a single room between two couples. We paid for two rooms, however when we arrived a second room was "not available." No free breakfast, no air conditioning as advertised.

Like that the hotel was made from a defunct furniture factory and its ecological consciousness. Room was very nice and comfortable, included breakfast was great, and location was convenient, but the staff spoke no English, there were no safe deposit boxes, the sheets smelled too strongly of scented detergent, WiFi was slow and intermittent, and check-out time was too early (10:30 AM, with no possibility of late check-out).

Large modern beautiful rooms but don't book here unless you speak passable Spanish because none of the staff speak English. Also, we booked the 2 bedroom suite and were put in 1 bedroom with no price reduction. We even showed them the confirmation stating "2 bedroom suite" and they refused to honor it saying that the reservation from Expedia was only for a one bedroom. The breakfast is extra and is only so-so.

Las habitaciones muy calientitas y eso que estaba haciendo mucho frío. El restaurante puede mejorar, los desayunos muy equis. La ubicación muy buena! El hotel el cenar muy bien!!!!
