Loved the location and modern upgrades of the rooms. Restaurant would be busier if alcohol was permitted. I enjoyed the restaurant next door at the neighbouring hotel and their beautiful Riveria Bar. Was funny to see the staff of my neighbouring hotel coming over there too after work. I believe it's a cultural reason there is no alcohol permitted now, as it is no longer owned by locals, but Middle Eastern folks. Nice stay none the less. Kind tip: The Manager should reconsider yelling at people in his office, even if it's just the way he speaks. It makes some guests very uncomfortable.

The only good comment is the view. Front desk was rude. Room had roaches.

Fabulous Hotel. I wished we had stayed longer. Clean, tidy, well run and views to die for. No alcohol policy is fine too as there are bars nearby with great atmosphere. Will be back.

I was not sent nor offered the Panorama Travel card to help me get around the region. Also, there is a Manager from an middle eastern country who has been yelling at his employees for the last 20 minutes in his office, as several guests, including myself, were quite put off as we waited in the lobby for various reception questions, and gave up. What a terrible way to treat others. I'm sorry the hotel has obviously lost it's local ownership. I also found the men of eastern descent at this hotel quite dismissive of women guests. For example, only the male guests were being offered coffee in the reception lounge this morning. Not a very good impression when you are a female guest. And not that it matters to me, but if you enjoy a glass of wine with supper, as even Jesus himself did, you'll have no luck here. The religious culture of the people who own the hotel do not allow alcohol to be purchased nor drank here, unless you bring your own and have it in your room. Wow.

Spiders galore in room. Couldn’t keep window open because of bugs coming in… bathroom had no soap. Towels are rough. Breakfast is good. TV was not “smart”.

The Restaurant Bellevue au Lac was excellent choice & located on the beautiful lake Thun, it had great views, a wonderful restaurant and friendly & very helpful staff. Free Bus passes were included into town and beds & room cleaned daily. A+++ We are looking forward to staying here again!

Charming hotel in a beautiful location! Go for a room with a balcony overlooking the lake, you won't be disappointed. Staff were outstanding. Restaurant food was delicious, and accommodated me close to their closing time upon my late arrival.

The views from our rooms were amazing. The hotel is older. The carpet felt dated and the area around the shower had some mold due to water leaking. One of the room had a slightly musky smell when we checked in. The breakfast buffet is fair. The staff were friendly. Can take a 5-10 minute stroll at the back of the hotel by the lake with nice views. The dinner at the restaurant was good. The pillows could be firmer and the towels more plush. The junior suite we booked were spacious. Overall a good stay.

The building was beautiful and the room was nice and big. The view looking out is absolutely gorgeous. The view also in the back is amazing. Unfortunately, their breakfast did not match The view. Also, we thought the breakfast was complimentary and even then I wouldn't have eaten it, but I didn't realize we were getting charged even for the breakfast for how bad it was. Also there is not AC in all the rooms. Keep that in mind if it's a hot day that you go. Also the water is leaking out on the shower onto the carpet. Without there being AC it could cause some mildew buildup if they don't get on top of it. Even with those things we really enjoyed or stay.

I like the clearness and set up of the facility. The room does not have air condition which makes room hot.

The amazing lake front property and view of the mountains was unforgettable. Loved the hotel and the town!

This was a personal experience as we needed a hotel with lift which the hotel had. On the day of arrival we were told that the lift is not working and staff didn't have ideas when it will be repaired. Also we given a single bad quality fan in two rooms suite. The staff could not provide any additional fan in three days. The bathroom had no privacy. In a nutshell the whole experience was horrible for us personally.

We enjoyed the lake view from our room on the 4th floor. It was a world class grand view. The receptionist were very helpful for our tourist related questions. During our stay the elevator was not working though. We were there 5 days and we had to walk those 5 floors every time. The hotel staff did help carry our luggage when we checked in and also when we checked out.

The hotel was beautiful with a great view of the lake from our room. Diner was very good and the front desk was helpful in giving us ideas for activities. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me but my husband didn’t mind. It was also a little stuffy in the room so we opened the windows to get some lovely cool fresh air in the morning and evening.

Beautiful hotel- historic and well maintained. Gorgeous back patio and restaurant overlooking the lake. Delicious meals. Staff were amazing. Room on street side is a bit loud w traffic.

No air conditioning.. extremely uncomfortable to sleep.

Our room balcony overlooked lake Geneva and there is a swim platform out back so we had a glorious swim. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Restaurant and food were good. Nice Italian restaurant across the street. One complaint is since no AC you keep all windows and doors open and tons of small ants got in. A few aren’t a problem but they were everywhere. Bed, sink, table, floors. Aside from that this is an amazing hotel in a perfect location.

The front desk staff Tiara was extremely helpful. But, for all the 3 days we were there, there was no internet and it inconvenienced us a lot. The management should reimburse us back at least 20 percent of the tariff.
