Staff was so friendly. The airline lost our bags and the hotel was so understanding, helping us find shopping to purchase some last minute clothing for our cruise departure. Breakfast was fantastic!

Great location, room was clean, bed comfy and shower was good. Free coffee machine on 1st floor, breakfast looked good but we didn’t have it €12 each not too bad but we preferred to eat out as there is so much good food in the city. The staff were great, receptionist looked after our bags on check out day so we could make the most of it without carrying luggage around. We had a gin & beer from the minibar for €2. Now the not as good bits, not much but balcony was small and the shutters were a bit tired didn’t close fully but didn’t affect us, we didn’t spend much time in the room apart from sleeping. Aircon is centrally controlled and blows on the bed, can’t turn it off as it was blowing really cold first night but we soon found a comfortable temperature. Would I go back? No but that’s just because I prefer to try other options.

Beautiful hotel close to everything. Rooms are updated and spacious. The room we had had a balcony with a table and chairs. We did not get to experience the breakfast buffet as we were out each day early. Note breakfast does not start until 7:30am.

The best thing about Hotel Àmbit was the location. It is close to many walkable tourist sites. The room is ridiculously small, the cleanliness was barely adequate, the breakfast was the same each day with basics, the staff was very minimal with any communication. I had old twin beds and one window with a view of a wall through Expedia. I do not recommend this hotel, particularly for the high price.

Staff were courteous - room functional but probably a bit on the small side if you were travelling with lots of luggage or staying more than one night Room was very warm/airless even though staying in December and thermostat set to 18 degrees no milk for morning tea

Nice location. The staff were helpful and very close taxi stand so there was no need to wait or call taxis. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room was very small. Hardly any space to walk in the room. They charged me another tax even when I had paid bed tax I came to know from another gentleman same night a larger room rented for far less. They had only 3 Kleenex taste in my room. The day I checked out the Gentleman was rude and unfriendly. I don’t like the experience

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very nice neighborhood with many options for shopping and dining. A few metro stations nearby too. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Clean, decent sized room and large bathroom (for the area), well located, food options all around, walking distance to visiting sites, short walk to direct airport shuttle buses. Not a « luxury » hotel but very good value for the price point. I recommend it and would not hesitate to go back.

We stayed at Hotel Àmbit and couldn't have been happier. We had been told to stay in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. Thank goodness we didn't. No transport, huge crowds, hot and stuffy was not appealing. Communication before,during and after our stay at Hotel Àmbit has been fabulous. Our room was aircondioned,modern with spa bath and king sized bed. Breakfast and evening drinks in the lounge and garden area are highly recomended. Transport is very easy and convenient. The area is convenient, walkable, upmarket and safe. We cannot recommend Hotel Àmbit enough. Thank you for making our stay in Barcelona a pleasure.

We had a great time at this hotel. Conveniently located for shopping and dining options. The breakfast here was the show stopper. Great section for everyone.
