We stayed a week at Riad Mazar, and it was really magical! Not only every corner is a piece of art and magnificent; but also all the staff is extremely kind, welcoming and warm. Staying at Riad Mazar is becoming part of a family. The room was always spotless, the breakfast delicious and a variety of options everyday. In terms of location, a big advantage of Riad Mazar is that it’s at the entrance of the medina which is very practical and makes a big difference. The staff also gave us very good recommendations for our stay. I highly recommend Riad Mazar, and will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning place. Friendly staff ready with helpful recommendations. Very friendly owner! Great location just outside of the Medina. You can pretty much walk to all that Fes offers

Riad Mazar is a gem! More like a palace or a museum than a hotel. An immaculately clean, beautiful and quiet oasis where you’ll be treated like a prince by competent and accommodating staff that speaks excellent English. They made arrangements for transportation, a guide and a spa (hammam) which were all outstanding. The breakfast was very basic, but lots of eating choices outside.

Riad Mazar is a beautiful riad with fantastic staff. Every corner is a piece of art and so well maintained. The location is very convenient if you are renting a car or getting dropped off or picked up from the Riad. You will not need to drag your luggage in the streets and 5 minute walk to the old Medina. The breakfast was nice and freshly made. We would definitely go back given the chance!

Do not judge a book by its cover. Inside is a thing of beauty completely unexpected . Tile work , courtyard pool, multiple seating area. Breakfast is greshly made. No buffett. Be prepared to wait but is worth it. This establishment is probably not suitable for Americans as they are always in a hurry and will not appreciate its beauty.

This riad has amazing Moroccan architecture and artifacts. We went to the Batha museum of Islamic art and then realized that many features in the riad approach the style of what are in the museum! The owner is a collector. But he decorates the riad with taste and not just dump his most favourite pieces around. The riad has 3 courtyards, not one. The picture here is the place for breakfast. But the two inner courtyards are just as beautiful and serene. We worked there a few times facing a reflecting Moroccan pool and it was amazing. In comparison, the room itself is not as fancy but clearly functional with comfortable beds. We totally recommend this riad. We have been to Morocco three times and this riad is hands down the best we have stayed in.

A very beautiful and charming Riad. Staff service was impeccable - very customer oriented and friendly they easily helped with arranging travel to/from the train station and for arranging a guide to tour us around the Medina. Breakfast was delicious. Clean comfortable rooms and quiet setting. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, although a little difficulty finding it through Google maps. thankfully, the hotel staff literally guided us driving our car to the hotel. Room was wonderful and Riad is well-located - a ten minute walk to the Blue Gate.

Beautiful riad! Quite the oasis from the Medina. The team makes you feel at home and is attentive to guests. Decor is amazing, truly like a museum and the photos dont do it justice. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Fes. Stayed in a few riads traveling in Morocco this past week and this definitely felt like our most “home” like stay, thank you!

The room and riad was exceptionally detailed. Owner and staff greeted us and met with us on serval occasions, offering tips of interest and arranging transportation as needed. The breakfast was a true pampering each morning. My son loved the terrace rooftop. Phenomenal place!

Beautiful Riad centrally-located in medina Our rate included breakfast. Pros: -Helpful staff. We also spoke to the owner several times during our stay, he was always very welcoming. -Clean premises. -Beautiful internal architecture with stone and wood carvings & paintings and furnishings in covered courtyard and adjacent decorated ground floor rooms. -Check-in: cup of refreshing mint tea on arrival. The courtyard is quiet compared with the hustle & bustle of the medina. -Free WiFi throughout hotel. Log on details provided on check-in. -One small lift to all floors. We tended to use the stairs. Our cases were delivered to the room. -Room Jawhara (Suite, Floor 2) - key entry. Hanging space and shelves. Duvets. Free safe (ask Reception desk for key). Suitcase stand. Small wall-mounted Goldvision TV (HDMI port accessible). 2 small wooden chairs & small wooden table. 1 wooden upright chair. Wooden dresser with mirror. Fridge. Wall-integrated cooler/heater. Two single beds (firm mattresses) with bedside tables & lamps. 2 small rugs. Window with twin wooden shutters - views of a street below. Opposite side of room has 3 windows (each with twin wooden shutters) with view of riad’s internal courtyard. En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower & washbasin (water can run very hot), toilet, hairdryer. Tiled floor. -Room - no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities, but hot water and tea/coffee & cups available on request.
