Clean room, staff, amenities

The hotel is well located, the staff is excellent, and the breakfast is outstanding. However, the property clearly needs renovation, and it does not meet the standards expected of a five-star hotel, despite being marketed as such. Overall, it is a comfortable stay, but the classification feels overstated.

Windsor Marapendi is my hotel of choice every time I go to Rio for business or leisure. The staff is excellent. The facilities are great and the location is very convenient. Just a few steps from the beach. The beach is clean and safe and the overall experience is always very pleasant when I’m here.

Excelente ubicación frente a la playa las habitaciones están bien y son amplias la piscina del Hotel en la terraza es algo pequeña pero con una vista excelente. El personal del Front Desk no es muy amable, tampoco son maleducados, pero no sonríen ni de casualidad. Un punto muy malo es el Wi-Fi, en realidad, no es muy malo, es inexistente. Es imposible trabajar o subir o bajar alguna foto del viaje.. ni siquiera existe la Chance de pagar por un servicio, no digamos mejor, sino al menos que funcione.

Staff was awesome, room was OK. However, I suspect there may be bed bugs, as I kept waking up in the middle of the night with a rash on my feet.

First off this is definitely not the 5 star hotel I’m used to… Hotel lobby looked spectacular but once you get to the hotel room, it appeared way older than the pictures. Nothing was included, not even toiletries. I had to go out and buy shower items since the soap in the room was extremely cheap and generic. Bathroom was tiny. I believe people live there and it’s really loud at night coming from hallways and connecting rooms. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, I woke up with body aches daily!

Needs better housekeeping service

Bathrooms are old - jetted tub n bidet. Outdated decor in rooms. Breakfast buffets are excellent. Dinner buffets are ok.

Loved how close the hotel was to the beach, clean rooms with very nice and welcoming staff. A bit of a distance from the touristy destinations but due to the cheap price of Ubers out there it was fine getting around

Stayed there twice. The view from the swimming pool is great. The food and service are good. The gym could be better (the machines are old and the area is small).

Definitely not a 5 star hotel! Maybe 4 or even 3 stars.
