The App Experience
I experienced several technical glitches with the Traveloka app, which made the booking process difficult and unresponsive. I also tried to use the app to request an earlier check-in time, but it was unavailable. Since we arrived at 11:00 AM and couldn't check in until 2:00 PM, we had to wait in the lobby, which was quite hot.
Hotel Pros:
Service: The staff are the best part of this hotel. They are very friendly, accommodating, and nice. When I called to confirm the booking, they were very professional.
Location: Very central and near many stores. Perfect for those who want to be close to the action.
Comfort: The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well.
Shower: There is consistent hot and cold water.
Hotel Cons:
Room Maintenance: The bathroom (CR) had an unpleasant smell. The door was broken (though it had a sliding lock inside) and the toilet seat was also broken.
Climate: The AC was not very strong, which was noticeable given the Bali heat.
Accessibility: The street leading to the hotel is a narrow one-way road, so keep that in mind if you are arriving by car.
Dining & Facilities:
Breakfast: They have a menu with limited options. The food was okay overall, but they don't offer breakfast at early hours (like 5:00 or 6:00 AM), which might be a downside if you have an early tour.
Pool: There is a pool on-site, but we didn't have time to use it.
Gym: None available.
Verdict:
It was an okay experience overall. You definitely get what you paid for. If you’re looking for a budget stay with a great location and friendly service, this works—just be prepared for some minor maintenance issues.
