chambre spacieuse mais impersonnelle, apparemment il est normal de n'avoir préparé qu'une serviette et d'aller chercher dans les placards une 2e serviette quand on est 2 personnes à occuper la chambre (jamais vu çà ailleurs !). la salle de bains mériterait d'avoir un eclairage au dessus du miroir. La piscine n'est ouverte que quelques heures par jour aux clients de l'hotel, sinon reservé pour le spa Sothys. Comme Sothys est fermé le dimanche, pourquoi ne pas ouvrir la piscine toute la journée ?

Nice Hotel in a nice town. Very good dinner and breakfast. We asked for hangers and shampoo and didn't receive them

What a quaint little town! Maintenon is a wonderful spot to visit that has this fabulous hotel. Situated right next to Chateau de Maintenon, it’s easy walking to great outdoor cafes, restaurants, and a pretty park. The hotel itself is lovely. Great staff, delicious food at the restaurant, indoor pool with outdoor lounging area, and an amazing spa.

Lovely hotel..everything looks great and dinner was lovely.The only problem is the shower in the room..its in a bath and one you hold,totally ridiculous ,water gets everywhere and climbing in and out of the shower is lethal

Very nice hotel, just steps from the beautiful Chateau de Maintenon. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with nice large windows. I had dinner and breakfast, and the food was very good. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel as it had EV chargers on arrival we were informed that the chargers had all be removed and when I asked if I could connect to an electrical socket in the underground car park I was categorically told no and that there were NO EV charging facility in this hotel. When we ask to book the restaurant we were told that no food was served on Mondays. BTW there were no local restaurant opened either. All together a terrible experience.

Plenty of parking on site, very comfortable rooms and a short walk into the main square with many restaurants and small shops.

The staff was very kind and attentive, assisting us several times when we had questions or concerns.

Super hotel. But no restaurant. On the monday, no where was open for evening meal. We had to drive to Chartres. Disappointed that the hotel didn't have a restaurant.

Do not do business with this property. I was reserving three rooms for my traveling group however by the time I went to reserve the third room it was no longer available. I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was Ok to cancel and get a refund (non-refundable) since they could not accommodate. The man I spoke with said yes but I have to call Expedia so they can process the refund. After weeks of back and forth they eventually denied my refund. They also repeatedly pretended they couldn't speak English whenever I called. I even had my manager who is French call them. I was lied to so I do not recommend doing business with them. This kind of behavior alludes to desperate business practices so there is no telling what they might do in other circumstances. Absolutely unacceptable, rude, and not a place I will ever book again.

The staff at Castle Maintenon was second to none. Absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom leaves something to be desired (it was dim so hard to apply the makeup). I would stay here again.

The staff in bar and restaurant poorly trained and unprofessional

Great 3 nights - very attentive staff and welcome. Particularly liked their chef catering a special meal for me as a vegetarian. Quaint town - well worth a visit and stop over.
