The hot spring water wasn't coming out. One man was drunk, rude and excited, but the hotel staff didn't try to stop him. I can't believe it. I never want to stay in a hotel like that again.

What a wonderful stay, this location is off the beaten path for foreigners but it is such a hidden gem. It had an onsen, free drinks within a time limit, restaurant on premise, a show by performers every night, a beautiful garden and yukatas to borrow. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Also while they do offer a shuttle, and bikes to rent, please make sure to inform them so they can be ready to take you/accomodare you. Please also make sure that if you book, you order with breakfast and dinner, because the nearest konbini is pretty far, and many local restaurants open later or close earlier. Will come back again if given the chance.

広い部屋は清潔で、量感全体に清潔でした。 また、スタッフの感じも大変良く、また訪れようと思ってます。

今回初めて利用させて頂きましたが、非常に満足のいく内容でした。夜のショーも想像以上にレベルが高く、大変楽しみました。朝食も内容が充実しており、お風呂も気持ちが良く、初めての玉造温泉を満喫させていただきました。

Breakfast was good!

Clean, comfortable, very roomy western beds, breakfast was very delicious and service was best in class. The cultural show was an unique experience. Parking was plentiful and free. The staff gave excellent recommendation for dinner. The property was very elegantly decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend others to choose Hotel Gyokusen. Location is also very convenient to visit Matsue Vogel Park and Matsue Castle. Great staff and atmosphere!

お部屋もお庭も綺麗でスタッフの方の対応も素晴らしくて最高でした。また行きたいです。

I like the facilities in the hotel. The hot spring is really enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is good. Because there are so many people, make sure you go down and eat before 730 am. Otherwise, you might need to line up don't know the waiting time. The staff speak limited English, but it does not affect the overall communication.

Food was outstanding. Excellent value for the money. Had a western and Japanese room. Both were large and comfortable.

Most people stay here for the Onsen but we didn't try it. It is a 25 minute walk to the train station but they do a shuttle service to pick you up when you arrive and leave and also some set times in the mornings. Lovely surroundings. Breakfast caters for Japanese and Chinese preferences - not much for Europeans.

Centrally located in a charming Onsen Town, Gyokusen offers excellent baths, spacious rooms, and high-speed Internet. The staff is friendly, and maintenance and upkeep are very good. This is a big hotel with many guests, but it is still a great place for a relaxing weekend!

It’s on the onsen street, the major spot in the area. The hostel provides 2 public hot spring. The facility and staff are good. There are also traditional performance at 9pm.

Room is really dry even a humidifier was provided. Pillows were small but hard whichled to neck pain. Air conditioning only with warm wind thus we needed to open the windows.

Excellent and authentic experience. Very nice staff. Clean. Very nice onsen.

睡眠時に外にいる外国人の騒音があり睡眠があまりできなかった。 ビュッフェが手袋をつけずに素手だった。（衛生面）

レンタカーをしていたので辿り着けたが、それ以外では不便なような気がした。最初にチェックインを手伝ってくれた若い女性は丁寧だったが、チェックアウト時の男性は冷たい印象だった。温泉は露天風呂もよく、アメニティもよく、洗面台もたくさんあってドライヤーもダイソンもありよかった。枕が小さいものが一つしかなく、そこは残念だった。全エリア空調が効いていてよかった。朝食は品揃えがよく、畳の上に椅子で座るのも素敵だった。個室のバスルームも広く、温泉嫌いの人も十分楽しめると思う。

食事が美味しくない。 風呂に入る際の濡れタオル等の入物が欲しい。

建物自体は古い感じでしたが清潔感がありお庭も素敵で心地よく滞在することができました。
