Villa Piedimonte was a decent stay overall. The pool area was beautiful, the breakfast was high quality, and the property was well maintained. However, the location was less convenient than expected for walking around Ravello, especially when the hotel shuttle was not operating due to its limited hours. Pricing also seemed to vary significantly from night to night, which made the value proposition less consistent. While the hotel has its strengths, I would recommend comparing it with other options in Ravello, as there may be properties with better locations and overall value for the price.

Great pool, breakfast and staff. Staff were very responsive prior to our visit and helped book a dinner reservation for my partner’s birthday. They also delivered cake to our table at breakfast that morning without asking. Absolutely incredible view! Perhaps one of the best in Ravello. Pool area does get covered by shade late afternoon/early evening. Room was a little shabby, towels very thin so had to be changed daily, and toiletries provided were adequate only.

We had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the exceptional view — absolutely breathtaking and one of the best parts of staying in Ravello. We also really enjoyed the large outdoor swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to enjoy the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ravello

We travelled throughout Italy for 3 weeks and this was hands down our worst stay! The food was terrible, there isn’t a shuttle to or from the airport as advertised it is actually ( it is $280 EUROS) each way. The shuttle driver to the main square the who helped with luggage was lovely but everything else was so disappointing and 2.5 star at best. The beds are terrible, the sheets are terrible, the breakfast and food is so, so bad we couldn’t even eat it. We are beyond disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.

Room was super clean, the staff were helpful with every question and request that came up and the room we had was absolutely magical. Would recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone perfect way to spend your nights in ravello

The view is amazing. We really enjoyed that. Our room was quite spacious and the bedroom and bathroom was always clean. The staff are quite friendly with the exception of one front desk gentlemen. We enjoyed the welcome drinks as well as a special touch for my bday they provided complimentary. Now for not so great; our room thermostat was malfunctioning constantly. We couldnt ever change it ourselves. Called the front desk numerous times and never had anyone actually come take a look-they just said they will shut it off on their end, but it kept coming on and off on its own. We had the room fluctuate from 18c to 26c frequently so made sleeping impossible. Also our room was right below the kitchen area, so you constantly hear the screeching and movement of chairs right above your head - a very much annoyance that also made sleeping difficult. Beautiful spot. But things like this need addressing please.

The room was spotless and the view amazing. The staff was kind and available at all times. The food at the hotel restaurant was great. Would definitely stay here again

Negatives: Breakfast was okay, not much variety and I didn’t like the fact that the eggs were in the same pot with meats (I am vegetarian). Coffee offered was pretty bad. The shower temperature was faulty, constantly changing from hot to cold. Tried bringing this up with reception who sent a plumber who looked at it for 2 minutes and said he can’t do anything. One night we were served food from room service which was not cooked properly- some of it was almost frozen still. Every time we wanted to leave the hotel in our car we had to wait several minutes for reception to open the gate. Ventilation fan in our room was not working properly. Positives: The room was amazing, from the balcony to the bed to the bathroom, everything was beautiful. The staff was really friendly. Easy parking space. Swimming Pool was lovely.

We were overall very happy with our stay. The location is fairly convenient, the view is amazing, the staff was excellent, the food was good, and we appreciated the free shuttle service to the bus stop and town square. Our major disappointment was our room. When we booked the room, I called to confirm that the terrace pictured was what I had booked and was told it was. However, when we arrived, we found that there is only one room with the very large terrace that has completely unobstructed views and it is on the 7th floor of the building. We were placed in a room on the 5th floor with a garden and terrace; however, the view was somewhat obstructed by a lower terrace that looks like may have been a pool in the past years but has been changed to a patio that guests are not permitted on. There were several other beautiful locations in Ravello, but we chose Villa Piedimonte specifically for the large terracotta tiled terrace with the panoramic view, so we were highly disappointed to be on the lowest floor that did not offer the view we had confirmed.

Great Hotel, Dinner was unexpectedly very good. The bathroom had a weird smell which would come and go otherwise it was great with easy parking and a good size room.

Beautiful property with breathtaking view. Highly recommend, this was my favourite hotel on our European tour. It has a classy feel and a lot of character to the property.
