My room was spacious and clean with a great location. The restaurant had a fabulous breakfast and the staff were all friendly and helpful

Breakfast was awesome! Maybe put tissues in room. Room was clean, staff friendly.

Had issues with toilet running but receptionist moved us to another room. It was cold in the room the evening we checked in and the next morning before heat came on. Close to town.

Excellent hotel 5 minutes walk from centre of Donegal town. Plenty parking, welcoming staff, comfortable, clean rooms and the best freshly cooked breakfast you could hope for with super friendly staff. Some rooms accessed from an external walkway motel style which may not be everyone’s choice but it’s still quiet and comfortable. Would certainly stay again.

Wonderful staff at reception and in the restaurant. Very good room that was smaller than our other accommodations, but it had a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Excellent breakfast included that you ordered off a generous menu. Very convenient location, walkable to restaurants and shops.

The lodge is in an excellent location. Parking at lodge was great and free . 5 mins from town, restaurants and bar. The only downside was there was no shelving in room or bathroom to put anything on (clothing) or no place to put toiletries. As well did not provide suitcase rack m (s) so had to use chair to have suitcases open, as stated already no shelving to place things. Also no Kleenex provided. All of this is pretty basic and should not have to live out of a suitcase for three days. If one was just staying overnight, then it would be an ideal place.

Convenient location. Walkable to Donegal town center. Staff was attentive. En-suites were nicely updated.

Lovely breakfast and wonderfully happy and friendly staff, Effie is amazing. She gave ideas of where to eat and sightsee. Our flights were cancelled the night before so our drive in was hurried and we appreciated getting our room early. Definitely would stay here again!

Lovely hotel, nice area

Firstly, I read on Expedia that there is a restaurant serving international cuisine. This appealed to me as I am business traveller and need convenience. They stop serving at 5pm. This should be specified The photos are clever and i thought I was going to a hotel. However it is more like an American style motel. Worse still, they have office style vertical blinds which incredibly have small gaps in so that people can look into your room. I found this unnerving. The lady offered to change my room but I failed to see what would change as all the rooms have the same blinds. The mattress is rock hard and I barely slept but that is a subjective opinion and some may like that. On a positive note the rooms were spotless. I was really looking forward to my stay but I felt very let down and somewhat hoodwinked by the description on Expedia.
