Cheap hotels are a bit of an effort if you want to go to Khaosan Road, approximately 900 m, but very worth it. The facilities are okay, there is a swimming pool, free bottled water during your stay, toiletries are okay, cleanliness is okay. Staff need to learn more English so it's easy to communicate.
