It is a really charming location. I wouldn't say it was luxurious, but clean and comfortable. I love staying in one of the passageways. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The staff was very nice, the orange juice was freshly squeezed, my niece liked the coffee and the the hard toast with the cream cheese and strawberry jam. She said I will need to find some for her when she return home. Clarinet made me miss my kitty at home. He was so sweet.

It's a very old property so it has some expected squeaks. That's not a bad thing it's a certain kind of fun. But our interior room suffered from very bright lights facing our window from across the way. And you say hey shut those blackout curtains, and you would be half right. The nature of this old property is that it has radiator heating pipes that are always hot even when the radiator was off. So we kept the window open, and the blackout curtains split to allow fresh cool air. The outside was 30-40F at night, and we would start with the window wide open , and adjust it thru out the night. The more fresh air you want, the more fresh bright light you get. That said I travel with light blocking masks, so I have that workaround. Breakfast is simple but good. If you're in Paris for food, you'll probably find alternatives but it's fine. That said the coffee was surprisingly good, and I used the fresh orange squeezer often. The location is very good. The metro is just at the corner, there are many wonderful places to walk. The entrance is within a covered historical mall with interesting wares. The property had a nice house cat, Clarinet. I hated the pillows, and was told they are all the same. The bed was two of I think full beds set side by side. Very comfortable, something like my sleep number at maybe 55. I wish they offered as comfortable pillows. Mostly positive, but I don't see myself enduring the bright neighbor, nor the pillows. Everything else was very nice.

The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was located in a very good area to get around to other spots in Paris. The rooms are very classic Parisian style. If you are looking for a super modern hotel—this is not it. Overall, we highly enjoyed it.

WiFi was terrible. Wished there were eggs for breakfast. Could use a toaster. Fruit salad was great. Bed was comfortable.

Staff were lovely. The hotel was charming. The room was quite nice and the bed was bigger and more comfortable than we had expected. The only point I would make is that it was too warm in the hotel. Being in the passage way was neat and we felt very safe.

Super staff. Great spot in central Paris, we walked to the left bank and up to Montmartre. Historically located inside one of the “Passages” Could use in-room coffee vs. the trip to the lobby

Charming stay at a traditional hotel The staff were wonderful and very helpful, Clarinet the cat - who I suspect is the real Maitre d'hotel - frequently welcomed us at reception, which was delightful. As a warning, the hotel is not really accessible. Many stairs and steps before you reach the elevator, which will be difficult for those with limited mobility or unwieldy luggage. Our room was small and quite hot and humid. No air con in the room, but a fan kept the air moving. Bathroom was good. The whole property is from a bygone age, which will delight some and frustrate others. The decor is a little tired. Location is good, very close to the Metro and plenty of good restaurant options within a few minutes (if you like Asian cuisine, the Brigade du Tigre is wonderful and a short walk away). We didn't have breakfast.

Lovely, quirky little hotel. My room was on the top floor and the sloped ceiling above the bath made the shower difficult to use, but I would certainly stay again

Hotel Chopin truly captures the essence of Paris! It’s absolutely quaint and charming, tucked away in a beautiful historic passage built in 1846, which adds so much character and a sense of old-world Paris. The setting feels like a hidden gem—peaceful, picturesque, and full of charm. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast—fresh pastries, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere that made every morning special. If you're looking for a cute spot in Paris that offers a true local experience with excellent service and unique historic charm, this is the place!

This hotel is V Parisienne and v old and quirky. No aircon but a fan. A good breakfast. The bathroom was ok with a fab view over the rooftops of Paris but the handheld shower was awkward. The location is good. The staff are helpful and friendly. I enjoyed staying here. A true local.
