Grand old hotel - massive lobby with many cosy sitting areas. Room were a little small but nice bathrooms. A bit dark if you’re trying to make up.

A great place to stay in Banna

The amazing staff more than made up for the hotel’s aged look and feel. I really had a very comfortable and happy time staying in the hotel that could surely do with a makeover.

I traveled around the world a lot and have stayed in many 5 stars hotel. This was not even closed to that.

In general the hotel is good, location and staff especially. The two areas that require some sort of improvement are room air-conditioning and the quality of available food, especially breakfast, both very disappointing.

Awesome (and expensive) property. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Great property to stay on at least one trip to Shangri-La.

Beautiful hotel, excellent food options and wonderful staff.

Comfortable room, friendly staff. There is an oxygen room for guest who have high attitude sickness To rest. The Chinese restaurant serve nice food and with reasonable price. My husband was having high attitude sickness, the hotel staff was so nice to offer him porridge and milk to help him feel better.

Highly recommend for a stay at Shangri-la. Great location and I would stay there again anytime.

Fantastic property, as to be expected of a Shang. Comfortable room, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and great breakfast spread. Nothing to complain about. You pay for what you get, no unpleasant surprise and this is certainly well within our expectation. We wandered around the hotel vicinity, within 5 mins walk, discovered a local market around the corner that is truly fascinating, If you have 1 hour to spare, worth exploring!

We had a really wonderful stay. The hotel is mmaculately clean and beautiful. The staff were really helpful and efficient.

Good location and short walk to the old town. Room was clean and well maintained. It was also a nice touch that the room came with a humidifier as the air was rather dry in Shangri-La. Service was good except during breakfast when we had to try a few times to get the staff attention as they were all busy clearing tables (possibly rushing for lunch prep since we were down for breakfast later).

I believe it's the best hotel in Shangrila. The service is good, hotel is very beautiful, room is very good, clean. You won't find other hotel like Hylandia in Shangrila

Hotel is pretty big n nicely renovated but very short of staff, walked into hotel with no bell captain service, only one staff manning reception desk

Checked in and out fast and seamless. Friendly and courteous staff. The decorations and designs of the hotel unique and befitting of the region it is located. The heating facility in the room brought much comfort in this cold region. Complimentary breakfast though had limited choice was quite good and delicious. Plentiful surrounding amenities and quite easy to hail a taxi to area of interest.

We stayed at Hylandia for 2 days in Jan and enjoyed our stay there very much. A cosy and comfortable stay at hotel matters a lot at high altitude and freezing weather and Hylandia has definitely exceeded our expectation. I love the artistic decoration throughout every corner of the hotel including the lobby, lounge, corridor and interior design of the hotel room. The buffet meal and hotpot dinner being served in the hotel was great and being offered at a very reasonable price. Our departing flight from Diqing was in late evening and the hotel kindly accommodated a late checkout and offered free transfer to the airport. Would definitely recommend Hylandia if anyone want to stay in the Shangrila downtown area where it is close to the DuKeZong ancient town and Songzanlin temple (around 15 min car ride).

시설 좋고 깨끗했습니다. 샹그릴라에서 편하게 묵었습니다. 수영장 gym도 좋았어요

Overall condition is good, but, not a up to date hotel, opened since 2015, but facility is considered old. Need some effort to bring up the facility. Bath tub also not working.
