Overpriced and Overwhelming – Disappointing First Stay I would not return to this property. For the price point and the JW Marriott brand name, the experience was significantly lacking in both service and basic room maintenance. The Highlights (or lack thereof): Zero Orientation: This is a massive property, and as a first-time guest, I felt completely lost. The staff were "kind enough" when I spoke to them, but there was no effort to explain the amenities or help me navigate the hotel. I felt ignored for most of my stay. Room Issues: I specifically booked and paid for a Panoramic View, but what I received was not panoramic. To make matters worse, the bathroom had a strange, unpleasant smell, and the toilet did not flush properly. Dining: I had dinner at one of the on-site restaurants, and the food was honestly not to my liking. Value: When you pay these rates, you expect a seamless, luxury experience. Instead, I felt like I was just a number in a big, confusing building. Bottom line: Between the room issues and the lack of guidance for new guests, the value simply isn't there. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next trip to Los Cabos.

We had enver stayed at a JW before. Althugh it was nice, it did not meet our expectations.

One of our favorite hotels. Ever. Gorgeous and immaculate grounds, spacious room, delicious restaurants, various pools and incredibly attentive staff. I plan on coming back over and over!

It was exactly the escape my partner and I were hoping for. Attentive staff, excellent food and service, gorgeous views, and clean and comfortable rooms. We will definitely go back.

Great breakfast buffet, great ATV and snorkel/ sailing expeditions. Used the gym, spa, pool, and hotel amenities, all clean and easy to navigate.

The property is an ultra modern and minimalist facility. It's pretty on the inside, but approaching it looks underwhelming. You get tired of the premises within your first few hours of walking around; and by the way you will be walking in silence most of the time. The resort is uncomfortably quiet, there's no music whatsoever, sometimes it feels like you are alone in this massive complex. If you are spending $400 a night for a basic room, you are expected to pay an extra $350 to exist on the property. Rooms are beautiful and staff are VERY professional - this is a very strong point of the resort. Mind you, there's nothing to do outside the facility. And the whole resort does not have much to do there except staying at a number of pools or eating. Once you are tired of eating, or being at the pool. Here is a comprehensive list of the things that you can do: 1. Go to the Spa However the spa is deceptively expensive. The nickel and dimeing of everything ruins your ability to relax. Every service or food you purchase you have to sign off on a check and that completely ruins your time at this resort. Despite having nothing to do at the resort, everything is charged for. Coffee, water, soda, breakfast/lunch/dinner, toiletries, in-room bath salts, matches for a cigar that you bought, and if you are getting a massage at the spa just be aware that they may charge you extra if they go slightly above what they are expected to do.

Every single thing about this hotel was first class all the way! The staff was amazing- exceptional service from Axel, Jajir, Roy and Jesus, to the just superb service at the restaurant Cafe Artist- which I’ll be surprised if they don’t receive a Michelin Star soon- simply amazing all the way around- the pools were clean and gorgeous and the views were captivating. Even the room service food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is very spacious and well planned. Breakfast buffet at Ua Restaurant was wonderful. The best meal during our vacation was at the hotel restaurant, Cafe des Artistes. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Overall, we felt pampered and very well taken care of—carefree experience. We would definitely stay again.

I have stayed at many Marriott properties worldwide, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a manager in the entire brand. When we returned to our room, we found the bathroom ceiling leaking water. The situation was handled extremely poorly no apology, no effort to make things right, and just attitude when we asked for a different room so we wouldn’t have to waste our vacation waiting for repairs. This is the lowest level of professionalism I’ve ever encountered at any Marriott hotels. The company should seriously review this manager’s qualifications because experiences like this make me reconsider staying with Marriott in the future.

Does not have elevators to the pools and restaurants, 3 storey escalators and long long distances to go anywhere and do anything. Hotel Far far away from anything.
