Staff very helpful room clean

the rooms need an update, the tiles are cracked, the floors are in bad condition..

This is a wonderful hotel in Hualien if you come here to visit. We stayed here for four nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a nice sized room with very large bathroom and shower area with rainfall shower head. The hotel offers very nice amenities with breakfast included. Also a laundry room for guests with washer and dryer and detergent all for free use. They also have free bicycles you can use to ride the town and down the beautiful oceanside pathway for miles. We really enjoyed riding the bikes every day as you were able to see so much more. If you don't ride the bikes the hotel is very well located in the city to easily walk to the large night market for dinner and the ocean front. Both only about a 15 minute walk. There are plenty of dining options down every street around the hotel. The main train station and bus station are a short 6 or 7 minute taxi ride away. Our room also had a very nice mountain view and overlooked a temple right next door. The hotel staff are very friendly, kind and helpful with any questions about the area and sightseeing. They also provide coffee, tea and water in the room as well as in the reception area along with free snacks. They really do go above and beyond most hotels to make you have an enjoyable stay. I will definitely come back to Hualien as it is a beautiful area in Taiwan and would want to stay at this hotel again. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a good location close to the night market and central city. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but not much there.just ocean. There are plenty of restaurants close by.j

The staffs are very very nice. The hotel has free bikes and laundry for customers to use. We enjoy the Chinese breakfast included in our stay vey much. The free shuttle service provided by the hotel gave a great convenience to us. Room is clean. We will definitely stay here again next time.

I wish I could give this hotel 10 stars. A young front desk lady who works at night (did not get her name) made our experience truly amazing and one of our most memorable and favorite trip. The hotel provides free pickup from the train station with at least a day’s notice. Since we booked it last minute, we had to take a cab. When we arrived at the hotel, she opened the cab doors for me and paid for our cab for not replying to our message before we arrived. But we did not expect that since we were the ones who booked last minute. Then we asked her for a recommendation on food and bike path and she drew a map for us and made sure that we went to the correct bike path and the restaurant. I felt like the she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience staying at the hotel. Thank you!! Hotel is conveniently located, clean, comfortable and obviously service was amazing. The free bicycle rental was amazing, the beach is only 10minute ride from the hotel and the beach itself has an amazing bike path. I would definitely stay here again when in Hualien.

The service staff were very friendly and courteous. Great for value. Great tasting breakfast. They also provided free bicycles for use and it was great as the night market was a distance by foot.

The hotel actually only give you a breakfast coupon to a burger shop near the hotel. it is not good as we pay extra for breakfast. We can buy our own breakfast if it is outside and we can have more choices. The booking does not have option of two single beds. When check in, we request single beds but the reception ask for extra money. This is not a general practice in other hotels. Hotel is extremely old. The hot spring condition is not good. Some are broken out and we saw spiders too.
