Excellent hotel. Clean modern. Food could be a little more adventurous. Staff polite but some a bit perfunctory.

A lovely hotel and pub with excellent food. A very large garden for eating outside and taking advantage of the sun. Yes, we had a sunny day! Our room was excellent and spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Should we pass this way again we'd certainly make another booking.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were delayed in our travels and arrived after the kitchen had closed. The staff were very kind and accommodating and made us a lovely dinner. The food was exceptional! Additionally our room was terrific with a great shower. We will definitely return to do some hill walking nearby. Only wish we had stayed longer!

Fantastic hotel, beautifully kept rooms with great bathroom, bed, TV and extras. Loads of on-site parking. Helpful and friendly staff. Fabulous food and drink available. Perfect location for doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.

This place is brilliant. Tucked away in the middle of no where, is this gorgeous pub and restaurant. Lovely rooms, terric staff and pub food taken to top restaurant levels. Craft beers on tap with excellent choice. Enjoyed 3 days but need to go back soon.

Great staff friendly and helpful, nice relaxing atmosphere, very nice breakfast, only two very small suggestions would be nice to have longlife milk sachets or similar in the room save having to go down stairs and ask for milk,and could do with a shelf in the shower no where to put shampoo ect when showering

Absolutely excellent find for a stop off on route to Scotland. Wished I had booked an extra day or two. Food was amazing, best meal we’ve had for long time. Highly recommended.

We only stayed for one night but had our evening meal and breakfast which were both fantastic. Staff were very helpful on reception and in the restaurant. A lovely old property with a cosy feel and an open fire in the evening. my only negative was the room could have done with an repaint to keep up the standard but the room was lovely and clean. I would stay here again.

Gorgeous stay. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. They are a real credit to the management. I attended to go to Yarndale in addition to celebrating my friends birthday. The restaurant was lovely with lots of choice including specials and with a prompt courteous service and a great ambiance. Will definitely be back when the log fire gets lit. Highly recommend for a lovely get away

Warm and friendly welcome. Lovely cosy bedroom with a fantastic modern bathroom. We had drinks in the conservatory on the comfy sofas than our evening meal which was delicious. Summer menu was a good deal and the Al a carte menu had lots of delicious options to chose from. Waitresses were friendly. A delicious breakfast in the morning. The coffee was a little too strong but the waitress brought extra hot water when requested. Throughly recommended, five ⭐️
