Nice hotel with parking spot. Italian restaurant

I had a great stay at the Best Western Blankenburg Hotel in Coburg. The staff were very friendly and always made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room was comfortable and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast offered a nice variety of food, with something for everyone to enjoy. The location was also convenient for exploring Coburg and the surrounding area. Overall, a very positive experience and I would gladly stay here again.

I had accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day, but the desk clerk was able to accommodate me by replacing my double room reservation with two single room reservations for the corrrect day and didn't charge me any additional fees for what was truly my mistake.

Schönes Hotel. Sehr sauber und komfortabel. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, die Brötchen werden nach Wunsch vom Bäcker geliefert. Das Zentrum erreicht man zu Fuß in 15 Minuten.

It's a modern, fairly characterless hotel but conveniently placed just 15 min walk from the town centre. OK for a one-night stay.

The person greeting me at check in was very nice and helpful. Since it was warm, she made sure that she put us in a room that would cool down at night, since the days were really warm and there was no air conditioning. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. But, without air conditioning, we had to sleep with the windows open. Since there was a very noisy birthday party going on in the restaurant downstairs that went on past midnight, we did not sleep very well. There were no screens on the window; thankfully, no bugs joined us in the room. Breakfast was very plentiful and delicious.

Staff was friendly and helpful in every way. The hotel was charming, with nice, homey touches. The breakfast room was very pleasant, with white tablecloths, and the breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and good showers. Complimentary coffee and tea always available near the lobby. Within walking distance of the town center and Ehrenburg palace, and a short drive to the Veste castle and the little palace of Rosenau where Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha was born.

Booked a single room and received a spacious double room - thank you. Good wifi and breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the self-service tea & coffee station on the ground floor. Lovely little personal touches throughout e.g., edt and body spray in the lady's loo on the ground floor, bed-time story and fitness tips for a strong back in the room.

Nice room, clean, and staff were great. However, there was no air conditioning in the room even though the hotel looks modern. There were no screens in the windows so our room was inundated with mosquitoes. German hotels really need to use window screens! The receptionist gave us a fan which helped.

Pleasant stay

A bit more room than a typical German hotel room. Good breakfast. Still use individual user names and passwords for wireless. Had to ask again to get a third ticket.
