Very accessible n friendly staff Kudos to Promi!!!

Quiet, spacious and clean, seems to be recently renovated. Also within a 2 minute walk to The Old Spaghetti Factory,,,,,excellent food and prices, would highly recommend. Nice to be able to grab a meal without getting back in the car and not be fast food.

All in all the hotel was decent. VERY disappointed the hot tub was not operational as we picked the hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. Also they were unwilling to accommodate a late check out (we just wanted one extra hour for time for time to shower after a run).

Enjoyed our stay

Street access isn't easy, but parking is spacious. Very clean rooms, hall and lobby. Friendly staff.

It was disappointing that the hot tub was closed for maintenance as that was the first reason I chose this hotel. But, the staff, pool, rooms and breakfast were wonderful. I do wish there were a few more gluten-free options and that the food was labeled if it was gluten-friendly. Plus, I am dairy-free, so I couldn't have the omelets either as they were cheese filled. I do highly recommend having a dairy-free milk option for cereal or coffee as well!

Very nice breakfast and nice room good stay

Quality of hotel was good but the check-in was terrible. Not sure if Expedia’s or Holiday Inn‘s booking system is to blame, but I spent an hour in the lobby while it was sorted out. I had a booking confirmation from Expedia, including receipt with charge to my credit card. Receptionist couldn’t find the booking on HI system and made me call Expedia help line. Then Expedia called the receptionist, then the manager, while I was kept waiting. When I finally got a room I ended up with a wheelchair accessible configuration which was actually very inconvenient since the shower curtain didn’t hold back the water and flooded the floor. On a plus note: breakfast buffet was good. Shuttle service starts at 8 am, which was too late for my 7 am departure.

Lots of foot traffic

We stayed here for 4 nights, a family of four. We had a room with 2 queen beds, and a pull out sofa bed in small sitting room. The room and beds were comfortable. The room was clean. We noticed the sheets on the sofa bed weren’t completely clean, called front desk and they had it changed immediately with a small credit to out account added. We were very pleased with that. Breakfast was ok. Standard for an included breakfast type of stay. Unfortunately, hot tub wasn’t working and we saw this issue hasn’t been rectified according to previous recent reviews. Workout room has very basic amenities but good enough for this type of stay. There was wet carpet around the air conditioner unit in our room that we let the front desk know about. Hopefully any leak is fixed as soon as possible.

Quiet even though a train track ran beside it. Maybe a freight train once in the day. Access to restaurants was walkable.

There are a few buildings in the area that are boarded up and graffiti on them. Hopefully the city takes care of these soon. Love the hotel and that it’s convenient to downtown.
