The reception during the day speaks Lao, making Thai people like us understand and communicate. The rooms are decorated with recycled materials. This hotel is very concerned about the environment. Importantly, the quality of the breakfast is freshly prepared for us to eat. Next time, don't forget Cold River.

My stay at Cold River was excellent! The property is well maintained, clean and strategically located. The host, Rudy and Marilyn are very friendly and helpful and make our stay there most enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious with 3 options of main dishes i.e. eggs, soup noodle or fried rice, all were very well prepared and super delicious. We will definitely go back to Cold River again whenever we are in Luang Prabang.
