Surrounded by nature, very relaxing.

Had lots of spiders and bugs all over the room. Told hotel staff and they knew that their rooms had lots of bugs. Spiders were jumping on me throughout the night.

Lovely staff a bit hard to find with google maps but once there very nice place stayed in there log cabins beautiful scenery and atmosphere no air conditioner in the log cabin though it was smoking friendly

The quality of the onset was top notch, but we think the facility needs some updates……

We enjoyed our three night stay very much, and we're happy that we chose this hotel. The room was a good size and fit our needs. The only complaint was the terrible pillows and fairly hard beds. The restaurant proved to be decent. My Japanese wife loved the breakfast choices and I was happy with some western basics, like great scrambled eggs, reasonable sausages terrific coffee and granola. The real treat was the outside Onsen, we chose to go when others were sleeping or dining. Easily enjoyed an hour twice a day with rarely others around. But we were there midweek which we'd do again. Lawson's across the street for supplies was hand and the walk to the cute town centre was easy and short. Oh, and the shuttle runs from 8:10 am to 9:10 pm twice an hour. Perfect. Yes it's a older hotel, but it's fine. The heat was on, the place was quiet and the Onsen was superb. If the price is right, book it.

It was amazing a good place to stay.

It’s a very nice property with a big onsen on site which was the main reason for me. The hotel is a bit far from the main town center but the weather was nice and we didn’t mind the walk.

It my first time for this area. Kusatsu onsen. So good hotel, Staff helpful. Onsen in hotel nice already. Shuttle bus service so good. It so comfortable for this trip. I booked with dinner buffet. Food is so good taste more than I thought. Overall is perfect (recommend to stay)

It was a great time of rest except the floor tile in the toilet is a bit old and deteriorating.

Reception was pleasant and quick. I really enjoyed the food and onsen experience. I only stayed one night and enjoyed the night.

It was just good over all. Had to take a local bus to go to the hotel from the nearest station, for 30min. When we checked in we ask a staff some questions but he was not quite kind ( not rude) and really don’t understand our questions even we spoke in Japanese. And dinner was buffet, but not so good food, like many dishes and food were we can eat anywhere in Japan.lol Building was kind of old and not so many amenities. There was ski place next to the hotel, that was good.

It's a big hotel with a forest trail inside the property . They also have a ski place inside . But it's not always open. When it's closed they have a free shuttle to another ski resort.they also have hot spring inside the property .

Nobody speaking in English that’s big problem for me to communicate .Food are the same menus every days not so many selections for you.Not quite happy with my 5nights holiday there.

Nice hotel with decent onsen (two places) and places to eat (two main buffet-style restaurants). The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the downtown area, but there are shuttle buses that run regularly.

Outbuilding Condominium Villa II is a old service apartment, and it is separated from the hotel facility. The front door is locked from 10pm-6am because there is no staff in the outbuilding during night time. Pro: room is large, have a small kitchen Cons: old, bad smell, far from hotel facility.

厠所地磚非常殘舊， 感覺非常不舒服 ，露台又好似鄉村地方荒廢咗幾十年嘅感覺

服務人員親切，公共設施很棒，房間較為老舊但完整度ok

プールがあって子連れで行くにはおすすめ！ 湯畑までは歩くとちょっと距離があるけど、ご飯も美味しいし、満足です！

プールと温泉良かったら。子供大好きだった

ログハウスは床暖があって温かく、朝は雪かきしてくれて歩きやすかったです！
