Checking in was seamless and quick. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Our room was quaint and modern but the view was overlooking the alley. Excellent shower and very hot. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner menu is limited but delicious.

We had a great experience at Palazzo Salgar from start to finish! I, unfortunately, left something in my room and the front desk staff have been very helpful in getting it returned to me. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It was close to most things but this area was rather poor and a lot of homeless near by. It was definitely one of the nicer buildings. The hotel breakfast was really good our room was ok it wasn’t as nice as I had expected. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There way black mold in the shower.

Not in a great part of town. Had to walk through some homeless camps to get to our restaurant but they do control who comes in and out of the hotel. Room felt a bit old and run down. My mattress pad had some gross spots that could be a sign of bed bugs before.

The room and property are clean. The shower head cover was falling off and the shower door leaked under the seal at the bottom. The staff did a nice job cleaning but took the bars of soap out one day and forgot to replace. The buffet breakfast was very good. The pastries and food was all fresh and good quality. The desk staff was friendly. The Duomo metro was only a few blocks away. Lots of restaurants in the area of the metro station. Grocery store only a few blocks away.

The location of the hotel is quite scruffy but the hotel itself is good. The reception staff were particularly helpful

The staff were helpful and kind! The young lady that welcomed us sent us to a delicious restaurant that was open late. Saved the evening!

Great hotel with a great view, checkin was easy and very helpful

Room and bathroom were very clean, however bed was not too comfortable as mattress was clearly at the end of its lifespan with several depressed areas Breakfast was lovely with lots of typical sweets . Hotel is in a good area Staff was friendly, however they gave us wrong info re the voucher we were entitled to as VIP guests and we consequently could not use it. Although we are entitled to a late check out, if available, we were only allowed one if we paid extra. However, this hotel is highly recommended. however

Great staff, amazing breakfast, nice room, great location for train and ferry service. Only suggestion would be for the beds to be more supportive.

Good Breakfast

Friendly staff, clean, easy to access from the metro. Breakfast had good options. Bed not very comfortable (two twins put together) and noisy. Very little soundproofing.

Room was fantastic, Nicola was fantastic. He got us in a room early, offered lots of information, got us a taxi and all around very nice polite guy.

Poor quality. Dirty limescale all over bathroom and shower surround. Shower didn’t work. Or no easy way to get it to work. Tired looking main reception area. Quite quick to check in though. Easy to find.
