Super helpful team, lovely clean accommodation. Breakfast was incredible, so nice to have a slow morning and have breakfast delivered. Parking on site.

This is a really lovely small hotel. All the amenities are there and are fantastic but for the amount paid I think my room needed some tidying up around the edges really. The reception in our living room tv for terrestrial channels was poor, some of the decor needed a bit of tlc, tiles on the bathroom floor were a little loose, a bulb out in the bathroom and I’m not sure what the screen in the shower was for, maybe a tv that no longer works. I feel a bit guilty mentioning this stuff because we had a great time and the beds were super comfortable.

Room was spotless and amazing, definitely one of our new favourite places to stay. Check in smooth and quick, welcome drink provided while they went through everything. Stay were warm, welcoming and friendly. The in room massage was great.

I have previously left a 5 star review after an excellent stay in a different room.We returned for my husbands 50th birthday & decided to stay in the most expensive room. It was a lovely room, although we were there for check-in, we had to wait 45 minutes to be allowed in because apparently there was a problem in another room that needed to be accessed from ours.Then the heating went and hot water disappeared after about 10 minutes when my husband tried to run a bath.The receptionist came round and fiddled with the boiler.It worked again.We didnt get to use the bath earlier so we used the hot tub.Lovely! Went back inside & it was freezing.Heating had turned off again and no hot water.Receptionist came over again and showed my husband how to refil the boiler if it happened again.She also offered to bring a heater over. We had to fill the boiler 3 more times, once at 3am because the place was freezing.The front door has a terrible draft.We said we were dissapointed in the morning at breakfast which was nice, but not as good as the first time we went.This time there was no continental breakfast available to choose from which used to be set up on separate table in additon to your hot breakfast. At checkout the receptionist was gone and the person there argued there was no problem in the room.Apparently someone snuck into our room at breakfast to check!So we asked to speak to the manager.This was 3 weeks ago now.A deal was offered for another stay when theyre quiet.So disappointed

Our stay was amazing from start to finish! The room was very clean, warm and had everything you would need. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was delicious and well presented, overall definitely would recommend and can’t wait to stop again :)

Amazing rooms, Friendly staff

2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return.
