A very nice hotel, except for the facts that there were no lounge chairs around the pool and the tableware available for the most attractive breakfast buffet was so cheap and small and skimpy that the hotel should be embarrassed. I found it incredible that a nice hotel would reduce its guest to having to eat with such terrible utensils Otherwise, everything was great

Room was fine. Building is showing its age. Lifts are very creaky. BUT fantastic location.

Room wasn’t ready for 3:30pm. Cleaners were leaving the room dragging dirt with their feet. Room was setup for 1, when booked for 2. Hotel didn’t have any extra towels and couldn’t be bothered to help. The pool was cold. The shower head had rust. The sink didn’t drain. 2 out of 4 nights, room wasn’t cleaned. The room has no furniture unlike advertised. No place to open your luggage. The doorbell buttons don’t work to turn on DND or request housekeeping. The gym stinks and AC leaks. Breakfast was decent

Not a clean place at. Be carful in the elevator very dodgy mechanics going on.

Nice big room. Stylish decor. Modern bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast . Staff sorted out a problem with my safe very quickly.

I loved the location f this hotel, but they were renovating the pool and you could not use it. Throughout the day there as jack hammering going on till the lat3 afternoon. The breakfast was very poor and often later in the mornin*b there was little to,choose from. Wifi was poor which meant I often had to move move to the lobby to get reception

Everything was good at this hotel. One thing that was not satisfactory was the breakfast buffet. The selection of foods was good, however, the staff did not do a good job of keeping the food stocked and much of it was not available.

Thr friendly, helpful staff is one of the hallmarks of Royalty Rio. While staying there, i always knew that i could count on thr staff to be nothing less than hospitable.

The men at the front desk said they didn’t get a confirmation from Expedia even though I showed them my confirmation number. I was forced to wait an extra hour. Eventually they suggested I pay them directly for the room and they would cancel the Expedia reservation. They never canceled so I was double charged. I don’t trust this hotel.

My stay was ok but my sister got sick in the middle of the trip and I requested a late check-out. The receptionist said the hotel was full and couldn’t even give us another room, not even if we paid for one. When we checked online they did have availability and we needed up booking for an extremely high price only to stay a few more hours in the hotel. Not very happy with the lack of support that I received from the hotel. The room wasn’t very clean as well.

I & Hotels.com contacted this hotel to change the booking to 2 person from one. No response. When we got there we were charged 300 reals/night for extra person! The Radisson charged me 100/extra person on the same week. The exchange rate at this hotel is criminal.its better across the street. Excursions are more expensive than nearby hotels. It’s Highway robbery ! Non existent online customer service. Not even a free water in the room!
