Very nice city and very nice hotel. We recommend it.

The hotel has a good breakfast. Beds are ver comfortable.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The owner helped us park our car, and found an additional room for a very low price. Also, the square at Argos was a delight. We were exhausted from a crazy day of travel, and this was a very affordable, comfortable respite.

Nice room, airy, generous size with juliet balcony. Good for a family of four. Safe area, tidy hotel. We’d stay again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, and in a fabulous central location. Had a wonderful view across the square from my balcony. Staff were friendly, and check-in was very quick and simple. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Very average place, for the average price. View from balcony was decent, breakfast was average, room size was decent, no free parking, shower was quite small. Biggest issue - room was cold! the whole floor is stone, which made it worse. Had to use heater to fall a sleep. it would be almost impossible to find parking near by during high season

It was easy to get to and walk around from. A great central spot for our daytrips. Simple, but clean. Affordable and the breakfast was perfect for us.

The hallways of the hotel smell smoking and this is a problem. Other than this, the hotel is a great choice given the options available in Greece away from tourist centers.

When we arrived we were given a choice of rooms and we opted for one with a view over the square. The room was spacious, clean. We visited Mycenae (of course) along with the crowds but we also visited the Argos theatre and the Agora, very easy to find but closed at 3.00. We picked up a parking ticket by failing to discuss parking with the proprietor, who could have given us a pass! But the fine was only 10 Euros with an interesting discussion about Europe with the Town Hall official!

The service was great. The breakfast was terrific. The room was fine for the price, especially the little balcony over the square. HOWEVER, we are non-smokers and requested a non-smoking room. The room had two ashtrays and smelled of old cigarette smoke, and the hallways smelled strongly of the smoke that rose up the open stairway from the bar-restaurant below. I'd give this place a MUCH higher score if it weren't for the smell of smoke.

Although the hotel was outdated, the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the surroundings outweighed all of that. The hotel faces the town square which is beautiful and full of wonderful shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The view from the balcony was breathtaking for us. It is a great hotel central to a lot of sightseeing and a short car ride to the beach.

The centre has been pedestrianised so don't believe Google Maps (or your SatNav). You need to park a little way from the hotel and walk along the pedestrianised streets to the hotel. This may seem like an inconvenience but actually its quite a positive as the hotel has just pedestrian traffic going by now (so no traffic noise).

The staff was especially great. The rooms were pristine as well as the bathrooms. Absolutely the best place for the amazing price. A must!!

The owners and the stuff were very polite and attentive to our needs and quite friendly also. When we left they even gave us a gift. Very touching!!!

The room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and the beds were uncomfortable.
