Just the loveliest hotel that is maintained so well. The staff were all so friendly. A beautiful pool. There’s a pay laundry facility right beside it. So many stores and cafes nearby with the most delicious food and coffees. We will be back for sure!

Very comfortable, the reception staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. It felt like home from home with lush details such as a good shower/ comfy bed and the kitchen area. We only used the microwave but it was very possible to cook meals if we wanted

Our stay was most enjoyable. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Our room was convenient. Elevator access is helpful. The location is optimal, with sites, shopping and dining all very close and an easy walk. We would certainly return it we find ourself in the great city of Viseu again.

Let me start by saying the building and rooms are BEAUTIFUL and unique and feel very trendy. We had a couple of issues that were annoying enough to knock down our rating and enjoyment. 1. Once we made our reservation we began getting emails, a text and a phone call about when we were checking in. We were on our way to the city when we made the reservation and were a couple hours away and we were meeting someone for a visit before getting to Viseu. We did not know how long our visit would be so we could not give them the time we would arrive. Then our friends had us follow them to the hotel so when they called and wanted to know when we would be there we did not know, had to google directions because they wanted to know it would be before 10 pm. We said it would be but they wanted more info. We finally determined we were a few minutes away, it was 8 pm. We felt harassed and uncomfortable. 2. The ad says "in room plunge pool". That is not correct. They have one pool and you reserve and pay to use it. 3. You have to pay for the little things, you want a coffee pod, you have to buy one from the office and the office is not open all hours (closed 10 pm to 10 am). 4. They offered to help us with our bags up the stairs but didn't notice my husband hauling our stuff upstairs to the room (no elevator) until the end of his second trip and there was no need at that point. I wouldn't return personally but it was just irritants to me that may not bug others.

Excellent value for the money. Perfect location near historic area Our room overlook the square. Excellent reception (Anna). She walked us to our room, showed us the Roman walls that were discovered during renovation, recommended festival and restaurant. Updated very large comfortable rooms with modern touch and historic stone wall. Best property we stayed at in Portugal and Sweden!

Amazing place. Great location

Extraordinary service from the manager who went above and beyond to help my husband retrieve his I-pad left on a bus. Long story short, the device was found and cheerfully returned the next day. Outstanding!

Positives: Room was large and clean. Bathroom was modern. Negatives: no staff on property. Lighting in the bathroom was bad. Finding parking was a nightmare.

This was an old house that was totally gutted on the inside but they did a wonderful job keeping the old charm on the outside but modern touch on the inside. We really enjoyed our stay at bemyguest and definitely recommend this place to any looking for old charm but new amenities.

We had a lovely visit in Viseu. The staff at Be My Guest were welcoming and helpful. We wound up staying an extra night. This property offers easy access to the historic town while overlooking this delightful park

Pros: Really nice apartment style accomodation. We had amazing views over the city from the 3rd floor. Easy walking to the old town and restaurants in the city. Easy check-in. Cons: Parking is not great. There are no dedicated spaces and on-street parking only which meant ending up a couple of blocks away.
