Lovely room, hotel and grounds. The breakfast was fresh and superb. Overall we found everything to our liking and would stay again.

All very well appointed - from the carpark through to reception and the bedrooms. Rooms - attractive with lovely bed and bedding, comfortable chairs and table as well as desk and hanging space, good bathroom (nice bath - and shower could be lifted down also). Restaurant leading onto the beautiful gardens with magnificent ancient magnolia was very nice too - we had two excellent evening meals and breakfasts; there was a good choice of dishes for a vegetarian (me).

We stayed for 5 nights and hosted a large family event over the weekend at the Hotel. Jane and her team ensured all aspects of our stay and the event were professional, friendly, seamless and delivered with care and professionalism. Thank you for your efforts and support.

A lovely bright hotel and our family room was spacious and welcoming. The only criticism is that the mattresses on the sofa chairs are very worn and thin and don’t feel comfortable. We all enjoyed both our dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast. A lovely stay and helpful and friendly staff.

Stayed here as a family would say amazing location for what we was travelling for only downside was the hotel room was boiling even with two fans not saying this is the hotel fault but we’ve found it extremely warm

From the exterior the Hotel is somewhat underwhelming .Once inside, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was enthusiastic and informative. The interior although adequate would benefit from a freshen up to paintwork and perhaps and injection of colour and artwork to walls. We had dinner on one occasion which was fine but the menu is quite limited. The waitress was wonderful (Nicole) and was very professional in her manner. The general experience was good but i suggest with a small amount of work to decoration and exterior gardens could be wonderful. Thank you and we will return again

Everything excellent really nice breakfast

Very good location & close to town centre. The staff Jane & Julie were very helpful & friendly. The room was clean & spacious. Little touches like bottled water in room & water dispenser at reception were gratefully recieced as it was during the heatwave. It was great that there was a lift too.

Room was lovely and spotless, staff were friendly and welcoming. Only thing would say, wish was better options for the restaurant, otherwise can’t fault it.

Great hotel, very comfy bed.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay and will choose this hotel again at some point in the future. The room was large, modern and very clean. The hotel is easily accesible on the East side of the town in very pleasant grounds.

Clean room, comfortable, nice food and great staff, in particular the junior staff in both reception and the restaurant, very welcoming and helpful.

Easy to find, really friendly staff, the room had everything you would need and the food was great, would highly recommend!

Firstly, All rooms need Air Conditioning units throughout because this week’s weather from Monday to yesterday was hot and an electrical fan in our room was inappropriate and non-starter. Please ensure Sudbury Hotel understands. Secondly, their duvet was too much for hot weather so they need to invest in thin togs for Summer and keep the thicker togs for Autumn and Winter months. Thirdly, they seem to be understaffed because when we had breakfast on Wednesday, we were served by a employee who would be rushed-off his feet if he was the only person serving on a full house of guests. On Wednesday, he only had a very few of guests. However, he was not very forthcoming when I asked us to be seated by the window because the breakfast room was quite warm elsewhere inside. We would only return in Summer if rooms have air conditioning units throughout. Thank you.

This is a very beautiful property in the Cotswolds . 5 mins from the Faringdon town center. Very nice and quite location. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. We checked in late at night, like very late @ 2 AM in the morning. I called a number they had given and a staff member was there to check us in. Definitely coming back whenever I am in Cotswolds.

Rooms could do with more Wardrobe space very limited for two people and Bathrooms very small

Lovely garden to sit in and have a drink. Nice proximity to Faringdon. Rooms very clean. Furniture and art was pleasant to be around
