The location is a little remote but absolutely stunning and extremely quiet. Everything was very clean and the staff very welcoming. I wish we could have stayed a little longer but we had to be off early. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Excellent! Beautiful suites overlooking the countryside. We felt like we were in the serengeti! It is so peaceful! The wine is outstanding and we really enjoyed our meal with wine flight. The service from our chef was too notch!

Great breakfast. We had 2 dinners that were delicious. Small kind of remote resort. Very special. Clean and quaint.

Fantastic stay. We stayed for a couple of nights but wish we could have had longer to enjoy the views. This is a very special place. We had a wine tasting with Jacinta which was very special - a vertical Verdelho tasting where we drank 5 different vintages . Will be back!

Staying at A Serenada felt like stepping into a dream. The food? Exquisite. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. The wine pairings? Perfect — every single glass elevated the meal in a way that made the evening unforgettable. If you only get to experience one night here, do the dinner with the wine pairing and book a panoramic view room — trust me, it’s worth every cent. The music during dinner sets the perfect tone, breakfast is fresh and light, and the entire atmosphere feels intimate and special without ever being pretentious. I honestly can’t think of a single thing I’d change. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box — but this one does. It’s easily the best experience I’ve had anywhere in Portugal, and I feel so lucky to have found it. Like something out of a movie — only better, because it’s real.

Views were wonderful, food was delicious and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. A definite add to your itinerary.

We had a great stay! The breakfast was great and the view was simply unique. The peaceful surroundings were really good for us! We can only recommend going for a walk and enjoying the sunset or sunrise. The wine also tasted great. Thank you!

Beautiful views, clean room, wonderful staff

This is a very special boutique hotel in the middle of the Olive trees and vineyard. Very quiet and calm. Only 30 mins from the famous comporta beach which is gorgeous .

This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So good! They have a set meal in town, which was not something we wanted that night, so we ate in town. We both wish that the offering was something to our liking, but we fully understand with the limited staff. Those guests who did stay for the meal seemed to have an excellent meal. The complementary breakfast in the morning was also delicious. This is one of the few visits where we wished we were able to stay a second night, and if it were a little warmer, we would have jumped in the pool, which looks out over the vineyards. It is a stunning property run by an efficient competent staff.

Nice property quite and relaxing with beautiful view. The only drawback - there are no shelves on bathroom to place toiletries which is inconvenient. No wash cloth either. Breakfast was great.

This guesthouse is located on a secluded vineyard on a dirt road (2km). It is exquisite! The area is beautiful and tranquil. The room is clean and modern and the breakfast was excellent! We would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this place!

The place was way off the beaten path but so worth the trip. The wine, food, views and comforts were amazing.

Lovely attentive staff in a serene pastoral setting. Could stay a long time here if you luxuriate in peace and quiet.

Don't let the dirt roads leading up to the property fool you. This place is beautiful and the property is inspiring overlooking the mountains of Grandola. The room was a vert nice size and clean. The staff are friendly and take very good care of you. This is the perfect spot for that quiet retreat or that pit stop in between Lisbon and The Algarave. Would be happy to return.
