Toilet flush handle and left side of bed was broken. Weird smell from the room

Staff were plesant and helpful. Beds were extremely hard, there was four of us in our party and not one of us got any sleep. Also quite noisy

I like to stay again. Good location to town centre

The room seemed clean, TV didnt work but otherwise comfortable. Toilet and shower were clean, but the walls floor and wash hand basin were not, the silicone sealant and mirror were stained and there were dark residue blots on the floor, dread to think what they could be. So we wore our shoes to go to the loo and decided against using the shower. The staff were polite and reception area spacious and well presented.

Mattresses was knackered, replaced by hotel once reported, and the rop surface of rhe sofa (sofabed) was ripped.

Room was good for the price paid but the road outside was nosy

I do not usually write reviews. I have stayed here previously and was hoping the Hotel had been updated sadly not. The bedding was old and not very nice and felt dirty. The TV didnt work. The room was very dated i have stayed in many Best Westerns and this is the worse in terms of conditions by far. The Car Park was tiny and very difficult to manouvre around even though i am a Chauffeur, i was extremely disappointed with the entire property, so much so that i did not even stay for Breakfast. And decided to book elsewhere on the second night .

I was very disappointed—the room we received was quite run-down and poorly maintained, which did not meet expectations. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but unfortunately there was little they could do to improve the situation.

The deposit thing is an absolute joke . I’ll never stay in that hotel again .

Excellent stay at this hotel.

We booked this hotel as a pit stop for our trip to London. We have been before and have had a completely different experience this time. Upon arrival we were greeted with blank stares and no smiles. Something I’d describe as the opposite of a warm welcome. Staff were unwelcoming which made us incredibly uncomfortable. The room was fine overall. We were shocked to have a knock at our door at 8am asking for us to stop stamping our feet. To the staffs surprise, we were not stomping our feet at all. It was our one year old daughter doing her normal child activities 10 minutes after she had woken up. This has genuinely confused us as the hotel must be child friendly due to us stating we were travelling with a child. Overall, we were disappointed with this visit and will not be returning.

Bathroom in need of a makeover , bath panelling falling apart not very clean. Bed was broken straight down middle of divan , also took £50 just in case we broke anything money still hasn’t been returned 4 days later , rang hotel and they said it takes a while to get this deposit back

Staff were charming. Room was tired and not well cleaned as well being beyond the reach of the WiFi. Breakfast was grim and very limited rubbery scrambled egg, steamed hash ….beige, cheap catering sausages. Not worth the charge.

Great room with extremely comfortable bed and pillows Appreciated the smart TV so I could connect my Netflix. Unfortunately my stay was let down by the bad soundproofing between floors which caused a lot of annoyance and sleep disturbance. I understand the building might be old but I had to be mention this as I wouldn't stay here again, unless I was on the top floor.
