The building is not modern but the room are very clean and the bed are comfortable. I was not sure about very small single duvet but i did not not need a duvet as it was very hot. The room could be better with air condition. which.

Staff was amazing. Hotel was nice. The beds were so uncomfortable. Too soft for us. No pillows. Used duvets folded in pillow cases as pillows. The shower space is very small and tight. Awkward shelf in the way which doesn’t help. A variety for breakfast. Was always lovely. Overall OK stay.

What a beautiful hotel and what lovely staff. Location was as described. Secure car parking for motorcycles. Excellent breakfast. Tea and coffee 24hours in the lobby. Very helpful attitude of everyone. Cleaners, receptionists, maintenance, etc.

Nice new property in quite location and easily accessible

Hotel is an easy walk from the station, very pretty, very private. Staff were lovely and breakfast was good.

A nice conveniently located hotel in downtown Mechenheim with a good restaurant nearby. Have stayed on several occasions. Breakfast is also fairly nice.

No AC few parking always full . They say the parking is free actually is not free.

We chose Meckenheim as an alternative to Bonn (where we needed to be for an event) and we were so glad that we did! Considering how close it is to Bonn, it is a completely different world! It is quiet and beautiful and everyone is so friendly! A word of caution, very few people could speak English, so it is not like a lot of places. But for us that was even better as we were forced to use German! We will certainly go back to Meckenheim and to the City Hotel!

over charged for rooms and i payed a little more for free parking and was told that was a mistake and got charged not happy cost me over 150 pounds more

Overall it was nice. But there is a lack of night life in the region. Lack of variety of food in restaurants.

We needed a simple, comfortable overnight with dinner on hand, wifi and breakfast plus simple comforts. This hotel provided all these, plus we valued the actions of the very kind receptionist who on greeting two late, tired people moved us to a room close by rather than putting us in the original room across the road. Breakfast was generous and delicious, perfect before a long drive.

Budget hotel 10 mins walk from local train station, Meckenheim, with direct links to Bonn main station, approx 25 mins. For business travellers it is not bad for the price, and even has a pool.

We stayed in this hotel as we were attending a conference which we could walk to from the hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet and the beds comfortable. The bathroom could have done with a little attention. There were a few broken tiles around the bath tub. The use of a sauna and a very small pool were welcome as we had travelled far. The on-sight restaurant was a let down. The staff were friendly but it seemed as though most guests preferred to eat at other locations. The choice and quality of food was basic.

Nice hotel, little to do in the area. Foreign guests be advised, the sauna is unisex.
