I want to thank Nautica for working to rectify the issue with our booking. There was an issue where upon booking confirmation, an email communicating the booking had text at the top saying that check-in was Saturday between 2 PM and midnight. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I landed at my destination and searched my emails for instructions on how to access the residence that I discovered, at the bottom of the email which I had to scroll several times to get to, instructions on further admin required. We were meant to contact the residence 72 hours prior to arrival if our booking was out of reception hours, which are communicated as 9 AM-3 PM, Mon-Fri. This seemed redundant and very confusing as the check-in confirmed Saturday 2 PM-midnight, already outside of reception hours. I had to arrange, last minute, for other accommodation for a night, not knowing if I would be able to contact the residence on the Sunday or having to wait till the Monday. Fortunately, I was able to contact reception on the Sunday morning and able to access the residence. When I arrived in person, they told me there was a number to call security outside of hours. This was not communicated anywhere in the booking of correspondence. The residence suggested I make a request to app and the residence for a request for refund for the first night which has been approved (yet to be received - but I'm giving it a few business days). I've stayed at many residence style accommodation and always receive a PDF with instructions to access the residence upon arrival once the booking is confirmed. So it was a surprise to have to call the residence to confirm a second time I was arriving after hours even though the booking itself had already confirmed after hours. It was very stressful originally as I was with my pregnant partner, but was very happy with the residence and grateful for the refund for missing the first night.
