Very central location. Due to which can be loud at night. Can hear traffic. So if you don't mind noises, very central location.

Location is in the middle of pretty much the center of Tamarindo for whatever you need, carr was kept in a gated and fully secured parking lot. The pool and set up of the entire place was gorgeous, you wouldn’t need anything more.

The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and it’s very easy to get to the beach. However it’s really disappointed inside the room, with old furniture and kind of less than standard minimal supplies. There’s a coffee maker but no coffee powders. No coffee at the front lobby either and you need to buy from outside. There’s no cup in the room and you had to ask from the front desk. So was the hair dryer.

Amazing location but first night we didn’t have warm water, no pool or beach towels provided. Beautiful hotel tho!

This hotel is in a prime location right across the street from the lovely Tamarindo beach. My kids loved the bunk beds and big pool. I appreciated the solid AC, having both a fridge and microwave in the room and the accommodating staff who stored our luggage while we went for an early dive trip. HOWEVER, please be forewarned that it is across the street from a very loud discoteca with music playing late into the night. Even with earplugs we hardly slept until it closed in the wee hours. (Not sure if this is every night of the week, but we were there on a Thursday-Saturday). You’ll also need to ask for extra blankets for your kids if you like to sleep with the AC on as only sheets were provided for the bunk beds.

Close to the beach and parking on site

This is my second stay there and would absolutely recommend it. Perfect location perfect accommodations.

One of the mattresses on the beds in our room was broken down, actually making it difficult to not fall off! Also the AC was a little weak. Aside from that, the hotel was just fine. The poolside room was nice!

Meh. Housekeeping didn’t clean room well. Bathroom smelled funny. Old building. But very close to beach!

Room was cleaned everyday, however front doors to room only locked from inside. There were gaps in the doors that allowed mosquitos to get in. Let us check in early but we did ask for above ground level if possible and were put on the ground level. Overall close to everything. Could use some Reno’s. Loud area at night with the doors having gaps especially.

Staff very helpful, knowledgeable about the area. Room pleasant and clean. Grounds well kept, and pool clean and refreshing. Charming exterior with arches covered in bougainvillea. I would have only 2 suggestions- install a small chest of drawers in the rooms for longer stays, and a shade sail for mid-day over the pool.

An architecturally beautiful hotel with stunning wood carving adornments. Located at the centre of walkable Tamarindo. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect. In-room safe was convenient. The laundry service is contracted out and charged by the kg. On the downside, you don't get to weigh it so there is no cost transparency, just a bill when it comes back -- ours cost 3 times more than quoted and much more than one would expect. The common area poolside kitchen amenities need attention but otherwise this is an excellent hotel.

I was very pleased with everything about this hotel. All of the staff were so helpful, knowledgeable and available. The location was PERFECT. I especially enjoyed my very comfy bed and the beautifully maintained landscaping and common area by the pool. There was a bit of confusion on how transportation from the airport to the hotel had been arranged. Edwin was professional and patient with me explaining the process in detail and clearing up my confusion. Overall, this place was AMAZING! PURA VIDA!!!!!
