People were stuck in elevator when we arrived. The room we reserved was not ready, as the adjoined room hacked in and locked the door from the inside. The host gave us a new room and told us it was clean, because she even helped clean it. When we got to the room, the maid was still cleaning it. A short time later the room was ready. The carpet squares were coming apart and there was one light bulb in the bathroom that worked. We told front desk about lights, and she told us the ballast was broken and owner has not had it repaired. After returning from supper, all of the light bulbs were replaced and obviously the ballast wasn't really broken. Later that evening, we heard a knock on the door. The hotel had given the room to another person. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.

Property called me ahead of my arrival to let me know they had to change my room accommodations. Most places would have waited till I got there to tell me.

No ice and elevator wasn’t working and staff was not friendly

Kind of difficult during a busy softball tournament going down from your room, when 1 out of the 2 elevators doesn't work going down, just up. Elevator bank area on 4th floor VERY humid. Air conditioner should be on higher, especially since there is a wait.

I have stayed here 5 times and every stay has progressively gotten worse. The rooms are all damaged. From ceiling to faucets and no one bothers fixing or renovating. My room this time had only scalding hot water as the temp control was broken. The room smelled fairly bad. The furniture was all damaged. The carpet is tiled and coming up at all corners. Nothing was in good condition. I ended up leaving at 2 am as I couldn't sleep there due to the smell and comfort.

The property is not maintained well. For one the luggage cart you couldn't push because the wheel bearing was gone. Our 1st room had the lamp half off the wall. The 2nd room didn't meet out standards either. We went to get ice and none of the ice machines in the facility worked. The good part of the facility was the manager refunded our stay and we went to another hotel. The hotel across the street was $10 more but was worth it in our opinion.

Just a basic hotel. The area seemed safe and comfortable. The hotel had some upkeep that needed some attention. The plumbing and elevators were having some issues. They appeared to be working on things.

So surprised to find the room in such poor condition. Overall, the hotel seemed ok, but the room was just shy of gross. The floors and some of the furniture were badly stained and sticky. The shower was dirty with black dots on the base and there was buildup of grime in the shower door tracks and around the floor. We stayed a few years ago and it was really nice, clean, and well maintained…all while being a great value compared to other hotels. Now it’s just as expensive but the quality has really suffered.

I don’t know what the other places in town look like compared to this and why this place has such a high rating, but it is not great. The only great thing about this place was the lady that worked at the front desk. She was super amazing. My refrigerator was all frosted over and she helped me put my things in the refrigerator downstairs, but besides that I was completely grossed out to stay there it looked like they had not cleaned the place in over 10 years. I left really early the next morning just to get out of there.

Quiet room

We stayed three days. Ice machines not working. Had to go out and buy a bag of ice. Carpeting was very dirty. Bathroom around shower was dirty and orange. No coffee one of the mornings. No housekeeping unless you set it up 24 hours in advance. Would not stay there again!

Check-in took 20 minutes because the system was down. One elevator doesn't work. This was my second stay, and in both cases the TVs did not work properly. All this said, the staff is very nice.

ice machines didn't work, indoor pool was dirty, with used bandaids and other debris. staff was barely helpful. bathtub was stained so children did not want to use it.

Overall, a great experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and very nice. Our kids loved the pool. However, the hot water in the shower works extremely well, but couldn't get get it to cool down. And the bathroom was a little awkward. Would definitely stay here again.

Service was great. Condition was the only issue with a couple bathroom fixtures becoming detached, and carpet tiles becoming separated from each other.

Staff was amazing, made everyone feel welcome. Place is very clean and convenient.
