The Scottish Planter is situated in the middle of tea plantations, which give an amazing landscape. The service is excellent, always here to help. The rooms are quiet spacious and very clean.

Unique authenic architecture, a hidden treasure amongst the tea gardens. Enjoy the lunch and dinner made of locally grown veggies. Take a stroll, children from the local school will say ‘Hi’ to you. Perfect!

Charming location,charming Staff.Room inadequately heated but was rectified on asking with extra heater, more bed covers. Linen and towels required extra airing,drying. Electrics old, circuited during the night on at least two occasions we were aware of,no touch or emergency lighting. Wi-Fi only in the lounge. Only CNN news and cricket chanels available in English. Room was cold although promised a lit fire. Quality of food extremely poor and astronomically priced. Breakfast was not in package and nearly double that of 4 and 5 star hotels we have stayed in Sri lanka
