Lovely Hôtel with fantastic restaurant and wine list

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel le Cheval Rouge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, the beds very comfortable. Highly recommend and thank you to all the staff

For the high price we paid, we expected at least a basic level of service—but unfortunately, there was none. There was no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor ourselves. The hotel feels very outdated. On top of that, we were charged unexpected taxes that were not clearly disclosed in advance. Overall, not worth the cost.

This is the town where dom perignon was born. Restaurant is great and serves local foods and champagne.

No air conditioning so I had the window opened. Friday night in a small town was active until 2:am so a bit too noisy.

Comfortable, modern room opposite the restaurant. Easy (and free) parking just across the road. I just stayed overnight en route from UK to Germany - I'd stay here again.

A typical French family hotel which looks as if it is ageing and is perhaps a little disappointing initially with parking opposite in a public square. However it was clean and the cuisine was extremely good. Breakfast was of a good standard and served on the opposite side of the road where the proprietors seem to have established a modern addition to the facilities.

Excellent food, nice quiet room but disappointed no aircon as it was extremely high temperatures outside, but even so the room was comfortable temperature for sleeping.

We loved our stay here. A beautiful room, a good dinner and really helpful and friendly staff.

Comfortable and clean room for a family of 4 - staff was helpful in providing 2 mini portable a/c units for the night. Located in nice little village. Will go back in the future.

Hotel is well placed, easy walk of the town centre. There is free parking opposite the Marie build in 1740. The staff were friendly. Whilst we did not eat at the restaurant the menu was good and represented fair value for money those eating when we collected our key were in good cheer.

Nicw staff and cute little town. Room was spacious and clean ut area is extremely noisy right by a very loud bar and a busy street. Room also got really warm so we had to leave the window open.
