Nice stay

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely amenities! The heated towel rack in the bathroom was amazing along with the rain shower! The bed however had too soft pillows and a very hard bed. Loved that there were blankets on end of bed to snuggle with. It was chilly outside! It is in a good walking location from the bus too and restaurants! Service in the bar was terrible but the front desk staff was efficient and thorough. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Love Glasgow!

I literally can't fault this hotel at all! The staff were so friendly and genuine from the moment I arrived. I was checking in and had a pleasant surprise of being upgraded to a suite for my stay, check in was easy and quick. Finding the room was easy. The room was absolutely immaculate and beautiful, the bed was so so comfortable. I ordered room service at one point which was delivered super quickly with no fuss. The staff also had a birthday card and treat sent up to my room while I was out with no knowledge from me!! Such a lovely touch and made my day!! On checking out it was super simple and quick again. The staff were so friendly and nothing was any trouble. I had such a great stay, can't recommend enough, thank you Dakota!!

Fantastic hotel, was up for the football, booked the Dakota as I have been to the Manchester one, fantastic night and a fantastic hotel!

Groovy

After booking a non refundable Superior King Room I received an email saying if you wanted a quiet stay don't book a King room. I emailed and explained I am a carer to a non sleeping child and coming only for a rest and could I have a quiet room please, and didn't get any response except "can't guarantee a quiet room". Arrived and toilet wasn't cleaned properly with stain on it. The (tiny) toiletries bottles had been used. Coffee machine didn't work, maybe not plugged in behind heavy fridge). Minibar just had beer or soft drinks. Otherwise room was comfy, staff were quite nice and breakfast was good. Thankfully room was quite quiet.

Pleasant and helpful staff Comfortable rooms

Beautiful hotel within 10 minute walk of the centre of Glasgow so very peaceful. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with easy check in and check out. Room immaculate and very comfy bed. Facilities top notch And don’t forget to get your parking ticket validated at the desk if you are in one of the nearby car parks Have stayed at this hotel before and it will always be my first choice. Thank you

Lovely rooms, good service

Fantastic stay hotel comfortable clean with lovely attention to detail.

Customer service here was absolutely abysmal. From checking I realised there was no Wi-Fi connection in my room. I called and I was informed that there was an issue and it was being resolved. About two hours later it still was not resolved so I went down to reception and they informed me that they thought it was sorted. I informed them that it wasn’t and my room was still without any Wi-Fi. About another hour later, I had to go back down to reception to inquire again as I needed to work and was unable to without Wi-Fi. I was informed that they were continuing to look into it. A further hour later I had to go back down and enquire again as to where we were with the status of the Wi-Fi. I was again informed that someone was still looking into it. There was no proactive communication even though I had informed the reception people that I urgently needed to work and required Wi-Fi connection. The room was at the back of the hotel overlooking a car park and I had no mobile signal either. I was appalled by the lack of proactive communication or effort to resolve my issue. The following morning I still had no Wi-Fi connection when I went to reception and informed them they had no clue that I was unable to access Wi-Fi and had an issue the night before. Therefore, there was clearly no communication between Staff changeovers to inform them of an issue.

Well worth the money for the superior room

It was amazing. The restaurant was lovely.

I had a great night sleep. Very comfy bed. Quiet and clean. The shower was also excellent and modern.

The first choice hotel for staying in Glasgow

Could do with a bit more light and a makeup mirror in bathroom but apart from that love it !
