Waterpark

Loved it!!

Staying with your family is really nice. The breakfast there is also a great option if you don’t feel like going out.

The water park was closed during our stay. Unfortunately the shops were also closed and it was very quiet but a beautiful place to stay.

. The water park had extremely limited hours, which made it difficult to enjoy. Dining was even more challenging – there were only two onsite options, both with very restricted hours. We didn’t have the chance to dine in, and when we tried take-out, the staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. Additionally, there were no basic facilities to prepare or warm up our own food. Only one microwave was available for all guests on the floor, with no sink or cutlery provided. Since outside food options were more than 40 minutes away – and many closed before we could even get there – it left us with very few choices. For a family trip, these limitations created unnecessary stress and disappointment, and we hope you will consider addressing them for future guests.

Perfect for family. Clean and nice room. Beautiful hotel. Highly recommended.

The property was clean, comfortable, and provides plenty of room for us. The only disappointment was that there is no pool you can use without paying to use the waterpark. Water in the lobby would also be nice.

The hotel was pristine clean, the receptionists very professional polite and helpful. Great locarion for skiing.

The hotel was amazing related the water park for the indoor. I would say for the quality control before renting a room. To make sure the shower is fix. The handle broke and this is something could of been prevented from the cleaning person to report the shower handle was loose and going to brake. Hope next time the team can monitor more this stuff as this hotel is not cheap to stay . Your paying 300$ plus tax per day you would expect a higher quality of rooms . Outside of that hotel has lots to offer and it’s like being in a resort down south for the mini shops and restaurants. Also you have 24/7 arcade room for the kids to play .

Perfect for family

Everything around was closed during our stay unfortunately but all the rest was excellent

Nice new hotel but we visited mid September and nearly all of the Restaurants were closed or open for minimum hours. Understandable considering it is the off season I suppose! Will have to visit in the summer to get the full experience. Otherwise a great stay.

We definitely had a nice surprise when we arrived here. The first impression was that it was too far away from everything, but really it has it all, and if you plan your visit to Old Quebec trip carefully, this is really a good option, specially during low season. We enjoyed the hotel facilities which not only include a great indoor waterpark (Outdoor waterpark looked amazing, but it was already closed for the season) but we also had a chance to play a lot with the kid at the Arcade room. This hotel was thought to be very practical, with amenities that really were thought to help the traveler. The staff was amazing and very polite all the time and to our surprised some of the front desk personnel even talked Spanish (which is my native language) additional to French and English. We did not tried the restaurants at the hotel, mainly because of the limited menu and also because we did not like what we saw at the reviews, so instead we chose to drive to "nearby" (about 15 min drive) restaurants. Overall we had a great time at Hotel Valcartier and we will most definitively return.
