Basic accommodation - it’s what we were after. Generally clean but a few areas weren’t the cleanest.

You very much get what you pay for! The shower and sink are essentially in the bedroom and the toilet has a door! Bed clean and comfy whereas floor dusty and aircon noisy. Full length mirror, hand soap, shower gel and bath towels. 0 romance, but somewhere to lay your head. About 30 minute walk to town, car park seemed secure.

Three Ibis hotels close to each other. This was the budget Ibis , ideal for an overnight stay, very clean and good for food/shopping/fuel.

We were there only for one night and everything seemed to work perfectly.

Ever wondered what it's like to sit in a pigeon hole? Well, this is it. In return for a modest fee, Ibis will drop you in a box and forget all about you. Looking for hotel facilities? There are none. Want to make a cup of coffee in your room? Forget it. In this establishment, you sleep in your room and go elsewhere for a life. OK, it's probably better than Formule 1 where impoverished students congregate but, personally, I have no idea what Accor was thinking when they invented Ibis Budget. Someone in HQ is drawing a salary for perverting the Accor brand name. How's that for insanity !!
