Phenomenal hotel. Excellent staff and very warm welcome. Highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, the hotel (hallways, lobby, elevators, third floor, and even the garage) had a nauseating smell. The room itself was perfect; the issue was only in the common areas. I understand that sometimes a drainage pipe can break at a time when it can’t be repaired immediately, for example. What bothered me, however, was that when I asked the front desk agent about the strong smell, he told me he didn’t notice anything. He even asked the security guard next to him, and he also said he didn’t smell anything. The next day, when I checked out, I asked the same question to the morning front desk agent, and she explained that they had a problem with a waste pipe since the night before. She apologized and told me they were working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Same problem, same question, but completely different attitude toward the guest. That’s the reason for my rating.

Great room. We were there at a quiet time of year so maybe to be expected but staffing levels didn’t seem adequate for the number of guests. We waited a long time to check in and there were also long waits at the bar. Good variety at breakfast but the food under the heated lamps was cold and one of the coffee machines was out of action for our stay. Quite a way out of time so nice and quiet but nearest bus stop was about a 15 minute walk away and buses were infrequent

Great Property Room getting too heated AC was not working, and they asked to keep window open and we fell sick

It was much more than we expected.

Hotel was lovely, good size rooms and no issues getting beds around the pool. Theme park across the road is excellent and also the wildlife park which is about 20 minutes away. Decent selection for options for breakfast and evening meals.

The Hotel was clean and tidy, however, its a busy place and full of families. Breakfast time was hectic and the staff struggled to maintain the pace of demand. We enjoyed the pools, the gym, and the location, not far from the town or the local attraction's. An ideal base for a family holiday.

Very friendly staff and incredibly family friendly hotel. Choices for dinner and drinks. Great facilities and entertainment. Waterpark at Terra mitica was fantastic. Kids loved the theme park as well.

We was unsure about staying too far away from Benidorm itself and even though the distance is not far you need a taxi to go around the motorway. However the panoramic view and the quiet area was fantastic. The hotel is stunning and great for families. Even getting a place by the pool was done with little effort. My only criticism is that staff can be quite slow almost too relaxed. Getting pool side dinks from the bar took forever to the point where you give up. That aside we will definitely go back

We stay in this hotel every year and love it but it has been so nicely refurbished since the takeover.

Good quality hotel Easy to find location, outside the city. Free parking. Excellent breakfast buffet Good evening meal buffet (not as good as previous years - less choice now)

Laundry service wasn’t available. Hotel was under repair. Staff apologised. Any food I had there was substandard and cold. Seemed that I was the only guest for the first 4 days. Probably the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. I’m surprised that the Grand Luxor was aiming to partner with the Marriott chain. No, I won’t be returning.

No good out of season. Refurb going on, restaurant is terrible now. Bar a joke. Avoid

Dissapointed that there is building work going on at the hotel and we were woken up around 0700 loading / unloading skips.
