A very nice place to spend the night while visiting Rio Lagartos and Loss Colorados. We got an ocean view and it was worth it. The room is comfortable and we slept well enough after the Saturday night celebrations stopped. It’s a bit tough for parking and the shower has little pressure, but the staff were super friendly and drinks and food was on point. All in all a nice stay.

I think they should have more waiters, I didn't like that breakfast took too long, when there were no people.

Location is perfect for flamingo boat trips. Breakfast included is very basic. One should note, that property does not accept Apple pay or contactless cards.

Great view! Location was very nice and right across from the malecon. The pool was better than expected and great for cooling off in. The staff were very friendly and especially Bernaby (Barnaby) and Julie. We loved walking to Sendero Peten Mac and making use of a mototaxista Juan who we used for an excursion to San Felipe and Las Coloradas and playa Cancunito. Juan has a mototaxi that has good shade and he was friendly and pointed out crocodiles in mangroves at the side of the road. It was only 20 minutes by mototaxi to San Felipe and 40 minutes to Las Coloradas. You can contact Juan through the hotel’s front desk staff. The posted hotel rules regarding no outside beverages or food even in rooms, seemed very unreasonable and so we ignored the rule. We did also eat and drink in the hotel restaurant area.

Loved our stay at the Yuum Ha. Great view of the bay and fishing boats. Enjoyed watching the pelicans and gulls pass by our window. Friendly service. Enjoyed breakfast both mornings and dinner one night on the patio. Easy to stroll along the beach/walkway to other restaurants. Parked on the street in front of the hotel. We are so glad we decided to stay at this hotel in this laidback fishing village. Got up at 5:30 am to take a birding tour where we saw dozens of flamingos and many other varieties of birds. Perfect way to start the day. We had made arrangements for a tour before we arrived, but there are many tour operators waiting to help you when you get there.

The property was lovely and the town is so quaint. It is totally worth paying for the ocean view as you overlook the docks and can enjoy the birds. The place has a great vibe, plays upbeat music by the outdoor bar and the staff is fun.

We had a terrific stay at the hotel ... everyone was friendly, the service of great, breakfast was perfect. We loved watching the boats and birds. One word of warning ... if you want quite, don't go during Carnaval ... while we loved the music, dancing, floats and costumes, we didn't love quite so much at 12:30 am!

We liked Yuum Ha. Staff were very friendly, the rooms were comfortable, breakfast fine. Their ceviche was really good. Rio Lagarto is well worth a visit for a couple of days and Yuum Ha is the obvious place to stay. We would return.

This hotel has stunning views but is a little difficult to locate as it is on the pedestrian walkway and is not well sign posted. The rooms are large and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was not fantastic but that didn't affect my comfort. Staff were very friendly. The hotel are in the process of making changes on the beach.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to return! The views from the balcony were amazing. The service was spectacular. The food was delicious. Our daughter had a blast in the pool. The complimentary drinks upon arrival were superb! This hotel is right in front of the tourist information center making it easy to book your boat tour/guides.
