We loved our two night stay in Room 3. Super friendly staff and Great food in the mornings. We ate breakfast both mornings. Loved the location because it was a few blocks up the hill and away from all the business of the restaurants and shops. Loved the hammocks too! Took a snooze in them the afternoon of our second day. We used the hammocks and sat in the upper porch relaxing during the evening. At first glance, we didn’t think the room had a fan. We quickly learned the light fixture had a “transformer” hidden blades and is a very good fan. We opened the bathroom window to let in cooler air and fan on level 5 and slept like babies. Only frustration, the door to the room and the back porch binds with the floor. So the door to the porch is really hard to fully open. Bedroom is not as difficult.

Cons:
– Room 3 faces a common area, meaning zero privacy. If someone is lying in a hammock using their phone, you hear everything and their feet are right in your windowZ Staying inside feels like being in a fish tank.
– No air conditioning and no fan. Closing the windows for privacy makes the room hot. This is simply unacceptable and terrible. 
– I specifically requested a quiet room and was given the worst possible option—no privacy and constant noise. Pros: * Ok check-in * OK breakfast And that is the only positive I can say. Thus 2 stars max and is Generous. Overall this was my least favorite hotel.

The room and bathroom were both a good size, and there was plenty of hot water. The mattress was very comfortable, although I wasn’t a fan of the pillows. One of the highlights was the great view from our room. The staff were lovely—always friendly and willing to help. The hotel is located just at the edge of town, but it’s a very easy walk to the centre, where you'll find plenty of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was simple but varied each day, which was a nice touch during our four-day stay. I would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Boquete.

Came here on a crazy windy rain speckled night..woke up to have breakfast on the back porch..wonderful full breakfast . Staff is great and friendly
