I didn’t get to stay it looked very dated & dirty from the outside

No problems

We found the hotel to be very well kept, everywhere was clean. The couple running it were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back. We would highly recommend the Monsell Hotel.

Lovely hosts and close to all amenities town and beach. Local to pubs, food and takeaways. Room very nice in a quiet location. Parking at hotel but also on roadside.

Just terrible Falling to pieces dirty needs a lot of money spending on it

We could not get on the day of booking and tryed to get a new date and it was refused so would never book again

Cheap and not so cheerful! Despite some minor redecorating still very worn out and basic. When i went to order food I was told the chef had left so no kitchen or bar available at all. Very unacceptable as two small children were included in the booking and no email received to forewarn us so no alternatives could be arranged.

The lady who checked us in was lovely the room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable would definitely return

I had a large good room with an ensuite. The hotel is located very close to the beach and to town. I was on a work trip and it was the off season so the hotel was quiet. For the price I paid I feel the hotel provided a great stay. Really good WiFi.

We came with an open mind. Hotel looks ok and the lady who greeted us was nice. The room was not as the picture on the internet. It had a bed, with a mattress with not much spring left. The en-suite had a vanity sink which my husband had trouble washing in. The carpet needed cleaning, kettle full of limescale and the room generally, needed decorating. I was a bit disappointed, but it was just somewhere to sleep, which was just as well. We stayed out till we needed to go back. Didn’t see any one after we arrived

Everything is well and good but WIFI wasn't working.

From the moment we checked in no where to park, no toilet rolls in room, dirty bedding, wall paper falling off walls, mattress dirty, shower room dirty filthy this is not a 4 star hotel this hotel needs to be seen by perfessional people

Friendly lady on reception. Clean and comfortable. Only a short walk to town.

Very basic Hotel show very small bedroom not suitable if you big person nowere to put Toilette. Bed comfortable.
